That’s a long winded way of saying we’re in a relegation battle after 8 games.

That's certainly not the message I was trying to convey.

I'm saying that it doesn't matter what league we're in or our position in it, you've got to enjoy it whilst you have it - good & bad. Leeds fans are notorious moaners. You might say that it's an entitlement thing, and you'd probably be right. Even if we qualified each year for the CL, there would still be moans that we didn't win it every year & face demands to get rid coaches & players. Some people are never happy. Sixteen years of hurt & they still moan after achieving that 16-year goal.

Why was Aaronson subbed against Palace? He was our best player and didnt look like he tired? Roca and Aaronson are subbed too much for me and just because Klich sub worked against Chelsea doesnt mean it works every game. Harrison was pants, Cooper pants but not subbed. Summerville sent on late when the ball was always down the left so a pointless sub unless you change tactics….

Broadband been down all afternoon so not seen the game, now down at my daughters and reading some of the posts. It seems Rodrigo gifted them the goal and Bamford missed a hat-trick of chances including a penalty. I am going to have to raise my hat to Jesse Marsch as he obviously got a response from his team and his tactics worked so well done to him. Apparently that was the best second half performance and overall 90 minutes. It just missed the goal(s) it deserved, so hats off to the team and Marsch. Another loss and only 2 points from 6 games but feeling a lot happier than last week.

    Arsenal fan here.

I haven’t watched you play much this season, but honestly, you are the first team to comprehensively outplay us over a full 90 minute game this season. We certainly got away with one there, as I didn’t think we deserved 1 point, let alone all 3.

Thought the first half was an entertaining end to end game, with a lot of hustle and bustle from us, and Arsenal dominating possession. Not much between the two teams until Rodrigo decided to play a suicidal ball that is one of the first things you learn as a kid never to do.

Second half we made them look very ordinary, we attacked, they cleared it and we attacked again, that was how the majority of the second half played out. Paddy had a typical Paddy game, looked lively ran his socks off but needs ten chances to score one. As for the penalty, it would have been bad if Ramsdale had saved it, the fact we didn't even hit the target is just utter garbage.

According to YEP the worst players were Rodrigo, Bamford and Meslier? So what did Meslier do wrong? Apparently Kristensen and Struijk were great, Cooper and Koch slightly less good but a great defensive unit today. Adams and Roca great, Aaronson, Harrison and Sinisterra good

The goal was at his near post, and he was going down early, so the shot went over his head into the roof of the net, other than that I wouldn't have said he did much wrong. Bamford gets marked down because of the penalty miss, but we were a lot more threatening in attack with him on the pitch. Rodrigo didn't seem to have much influence on the game, except for his suicidal pass to Struijk

I didn’t see much wrong with Meslier. Maybe could have done better for the goal but Bamford and rodrigo were utterly hopeless

Eire broadband is back up and just watched ghe highlights. Meslier should never have been beaten from that angle, but fk me it was a great ball from Rodrigo

Also noticed Summerville had a great chance and blazed over from 12yds out

Funny how football plays out. This week we have 3 games. Pretty much every fan had written us off for yesterday but we were the bettter team. Most of us had our eyes on Leicester and Fulham as the games to pick points up in. That’s still the case obviously but the mood is improved.. and expectation probably increased.

Leicester have actually started playing well at home. They create chances but don’t always take them. Regardless of their league position it will be a tough game… and they have a day’s extra rest. Both Leicester and Fulham are playing decent football but leaking at the back, we will have chances and need to start fckng taking them.

Not every fan wrote us off. I thought we could get at them which we did fantastically well. Just couldn't finish.

What we'll never know Milky is how Arsenal would have reacted had Bamford equalised from the spot. For all our great play and second half domination the Gunners were always leading and it was quite obvious they were trying to manage the game, which ultimately they managed to do.

Just shame we never got to find out.

You could see the relief on the Arsenal lot at full time. We hammered them second half and lost.
