A point against West Ham isn't bad. I mean, we were clinging on a bit at the end, but not sure it warrants booing. Still, I guess that's an indicator of where we are right now.
We really could have done with 3 points to relieve some pressure (how many times we going to keep saying that!). Now we have a huge match against a resurgent Bournemouth team. Very disappointing 2nd half.
That should have been a fairly easy victory but a combination of poor play and poor management let us down. I have been on Ralph’s side but I think he has reached the limit of what he can get out of this squad. We need a change.
First 30 mins we played well. But very lucky to get a point. Why do our players look so f*cking tired in the second half every game?
Not able to watch most of it because of streaming issues but from what I heard on Solent we were second best for pretty much all the second half and the second part of the first half, so I am putting this down as a good point. What I did watch I have to say that we are getting more than our share of commentators and pundits who are only interested in slagging us off and looking for fouls that they wouldn’t be looking for when done by other teams. Seriously pissing me off as much as our inability to win games.
The performance was so uninspiring and limp yet again, though. Bar a spell of about 20 minutes of performance from a handful of players. I think the boos are aimed more at the inertia and limp nature of everything, than believing that a point against West Ham is a bad point.
I said? A bunch of reporters said you mean? Also - at no point in that post did I say it would or wouldn’t be an issue (this price). But I very intentionally mentioned to player side interest. Because Scamacca wouldn’t have joined us even if we matched the bid. Just like Gakpo turned down both us and Leeds
