That's what I mean, he looks destroyed. Nice chap, but no footballing intelligence, for sure nods off whenever they try to explain football science and the like too him, he runs and runs and runs until he's limping off the pitch, he's apparently the same in training. not to mention his style invites challenges so he's knocked about constantly. He pulled something in Bruce's last full season and he's never been the same since.
He's an outlet at best. Someone the defence used to knock the ball to and hope he could give them a moment of breathing space. On his day he's capable of some sublime moves but he's thick as ****, never looks up, always makes the wrong decision, never plays the simple ball and more often than not, runs the ball out of touch. He needs to be in a team that plays on the backfoot and makes him the focal point like we used to, he's nowhere near as effective now we are more attack minded. Funnily enough, recent showings suggest the opposite for Miggy. He's now finding the space to be found from Bruno and Tripps whereas looked like a headless chicken trying to do the Maxi role on the right.
I was highly impressed with the Miggy we signed from the US back in Rafa's day. When he was transformed into a defensive player instead of an actual CAM I was pleased with his workrate but disappointed with everything else. Since this season, Howe's seen something and put a lot more focus on the lad. He's improved so much. My girlfriends favourite player for us so she's happy. I've made her an NUFC fan.
I agree with most on ASM. I don’t think he’ll be playing past 28. We need to improve, rumours still abound on Diaby.
