I think you’re right, he is on very thin ice. The Leicester fans pretty much unanimously want him gone from looking at their forum
Odd - I think it was yesterday that I saw loads of people crowing about how him and his ex were following each other on Instagram again which someone meant it was all forgiven and he was due a return I’d have thought that contact with her might be somewhat relevant to the bail conditions but it could not be But that changed very rapidly indeed edit : my musing seems to have been correct - the breach was likely for contacting / trying to contact the victim
Oh dear oh dear. Maddison picks up his 5th yellow of the season for diving and now misses their home game against Leeds. Last thing Brenda and Leicester needed.
Bompey already 0-1 up at the Cottage. Shameless copycats, they're going on one of our post 0-9 top 6 runs of form.
My mind takes me back to the Foden and Greenwood incident while on England duty. Foden obviously grew up and Greenwood didn't. Obviously there's more to Greenwood than just immaturity here but it seems like Foden nearly got taken down a bad path by this son of a bitch. Well, Mason, you get convicted of all the charges and you are going to prison for a long time.
Not sure they are really related. Huge step between legally having girls back to your hotel whilst on England duty (which teenager in the world wouldn'd do that?) and being charged for attempted rape and assault
I guess the point is that whilst it was legal it was against team rules? So as to which teenager in the world wouldn't do that - seemingly countless others who have been called up to england squads with similar rules in place So then it becomes about attitude to rules / authority in general That would be how there is some relation. It is still a big step. Not quite as big a step
Obviously there's a big gap between the two incidents and yes, teenagers would do that. My point is Foden and Greenwood have gone in completely different directions since then. Foden has grown up and let his football do the talking whereas Greenwood still has the mentality of "I'm a PL footballer, do what I say" and didn't like it when someone said no. Obviously I don't know the details of what went on but it feels like Greenwood was the instigator of what happened on England duty. He wasn't called up again even before these recent allegations came to light.
