Got to say it...what a great second half.

    1. Broke down a park the bus team

    2. 11 attempts this half

    3. No attempts conceded

    4. Son and Kane playing well again

    5. Very good second half from Doherty

    6. Bissouma playing well

    7. Minutes for Spence, Moura and Skipp.

Only bad news is the injury.

Excellent result and a decent performance after a midweek European game.

Unsung hero award once again goes to Ben Davies. Not a foot wrong defensively and some great forward passes. Always looking to be progressive:emoticon-0148-yes:

Time waste and to show Spence, Skipp and Moura that they are in his plans I guess

    Much better second half.

If Conte hasn’t learned by now that 343 with Richarlison on the right doesn’t work then he never will. As soon as he went off and we went 352 with Bissouma we looked miles better, that has to be the formation now whilst Kulu remains out, it’ll be ****ing stupid not to be.

Much better second half from Doherty and his all round game was much better than Emerson. If Emerson comes back into the league side when his suspension’s over then Conte needs to give his head a wobble, the Brazilian should be sold in January ideally.

The Viking keeping up his impressive season, easily out POTY so far. His CM partner also having a strong game again as well.

Kane scoring on his 400th appearance too, that’s 9 in 10 league games. Any other season he’d be leading the golden boot race! Lol.

Bissouma MOTM for me, great impact, turned the game in our favour.

Agree with everything although would like to say that it's not Richarlisons fault. He's a square peg there.

Enjoyable 2nd half , Conte must realise now we have nobody to unlock these defensive teams if the Kane/ Son partnership is not working, Doherty and Perisic vast improvements on Royal and Sess
3 points and a clean sheet and 8 on the bounce wins at home , not too shabby

    10 games
    1 loss
    2 draws
    7 wins
    23 points
    22 scored
    10 conceded
    4 clean sheets
    144 attempts on goal

I know we ain't fully clicked but this is why I disagree with Nuno/ JM comparisons.

We are averaging over 2 goals per league game and average 14.4 chances per game.

Arsenal was a truly awful performance from everyone on and off the pitch but we won every home game (last season we lost to Southampton and wolves under Conte) and played Chelsea, West Ham, Brighton and Arsenal away (along with forest) ... last season we got 3 points from those 4 games ... this season we got 5.

There is a media narrative of us being defensive and negative and struggling which my own eyes and the stats prove to be wrong imo.

Like I said, some criticism is valid ( some on here is) but the Nuno/JM comparisons don't hold up for me imho

Despite what people say it does show that people do care about the style of play and not just results as many claim. It appears to me that we do show improvement in the second halves which is, to me, the sign of a good manager. Although if we have a good first half we do not then have a good second half. So I'm guessing that Conte tweaks things at half time dependent on what we have done at that point.

Let's also not forget that he spends considerable time in training sorting out the team in his mind. In the past when we didn't have all these substitutes and when we had none at all, winning teams were mostly unchanged teams. Less emphasis on tricky tactics and more on players being familiar with each other so that they acted to bamboozle the opposition, just like Kane and Son can in fact.

Just back from the game, not ready any other posts, so I am sorry if this repeats a lot of other stuff.

I thought it was a very comfortable win, 2-0 probably flattered Everton who I thought were distinctly average.

We weren't great particularly first half, but we were always comfortable keeping the ball for long periods without really threatening. They did have 2 fabulous chances first half, but that was it as far as an Everton threat was concerned

Game changed with Richarlisons injury, Bissouma was immense best we have seen from him in a Spurs shirt by a mile, Doherty and Son showed up better too once he was on.

No really bad performances though Perisic was not great at times with a number of misplaced passes, but all in all a good day and a win that Conte may have enjoyed more than the fans in many ways.

Watching MOTD and didn't clock during the game just how bad that Son header is from Perisic’s cross. The defender may obscure Son’s view but he seems to duck his head. Should be anticipating that better. The Croat’s crossing was back on top form today again too, should’ve had an assist and his third or fourth ended up resulting in Kane getting the penalty.

Also good to see the pundits big up Bissouma with Conte also recognising it too, absolutely changed the game. We know his quality and it’s been surprising to many at just how little he’s been trusted so far. I know Conte’s talking about improving the defensive side of his game but today he showed when he came on one of the reasons why we bought him (and why many were interested) and that’s his ability to control a midfield. It’s something Dembele was a master at and whilst Bissouma’s got some way to go to match him, he has that sort of ability. Has to start away to Utd, regardless of whether Richarlison is fit or not, the latter has to take a seat on the bench, good player but not a good enough starter at RW, nowhere near Kulu’s level.

Just got back myself. A great evening out and jolly nice to get another 3 points.

The first half was utterly dull. From where we were sat, we could see Son was tripped in the box. Def a penalty.

As far as I’m concerned, and agreeing with what others are saying, richi should be replaced with biss. Richi, Kane and Son really doesn’t work.

The Hoff was great, as was everyone else. Kane had a poor first half but improved as the game went on.

I was saying to the kids that it’s great to be watching the game live and soaking up the atmosphere and energy in the crowds, I do miss watching the games on TV because you do miss a lot. That’s my age showing. Still, I’m younger than some of the older farts on here!
