Lots to be pleased with. Will it shut some of the moaners up for a few days?

There are things to work on, definitely, but even the moaners must see a lot to be happy about. I had Cathcart as MotM, and okay, Gosling’s not super-happy there, but he he worked so hard. Very proud of those two in particular.

3 points was important, but I think from whom they were won is more relevant - it must surely give the doubters (of whom I have been one ;) ) something to think about.

Certainly was, but still room for improvement - which is frustrating as we have players more than capable of it but still not performing well.

Can't remember WTE putting a foot wrong, Cathcart was solid, Gosling surprised but showed his lack of pace. A toss up between Louza and Asprilla for our MOM in my opinion - the only two who seemed to pass properly.

Seems that Gosling started out as a full back, and I thought he did well. First half Norwich tried attacking down his side a lot, but with Sema playing deeper on the wrong side for him, not too much came in from that side. Player of the match on my stream was Sarr.

Congratulations, the better side won .
Norwich were sloppy in defence & Watford capitalised.

    Zero complaints

Cheers, DD. <ok> Wish you well, as you know, we had a Canary watching us from above who meant a lot to us.

    Good positive performance.

Defence looked much better and we attacked with some purpose .

Understandably came under a lot of pressure but dealt with it well .

Hopefully Louza doesn’t get that ban !

In the sky interview Bilic was very upbeat about playing an attacking game......

Yes, he was also brilliant on the left against Liverpool back in 2019. As has been said, you play your best players in their best positions.

I suspect Bilic fell lucky into Sarr on the left. He has Gosling playing RB and needed Sema to double team and help him out. Clearly preferring that to Kamara on the right and Morris on the left. The squad is bare bones right now.

Bit of criticism for the ref from them .

    https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/150000-motm-the-ref/

None of the Norwich players complained about the penalty from what I saw and nor did Dean Smith for once.

Asprilla did go off limping so was hurt and he is only a slight chap!!

Sarr only does what every player like him will do - including theirs .

Ref wasted as much time in that situation by standing over Sarr for ages then allowing the physio on tbh .

Pedro got a whack in the face or made out he did which means the game has to stop.

Yes we know time wasting generally is an issue but then if refs don’t punish it or add time in it will keep happening.

The Asprilla one, on highlights you can see he was stamped on. The other 2 were overacting. Pedro did get a brush with an upper arm but no way was he hurt, I was surprised only 6 mins overtime, I expected much more with the number of 2nd half injuries and subs. We were time wasting from around 80 mins and before that breaks in the play took the sting out of Norwich pressure.
