They’ve played us at our own game so it’s down to Conte to switch it up. Our right flank is non-existent and it may reach a point where 3CBs aren’t needed either - but Conte rarely changes formation. Spence’s speed and Gil’s trickery could open up the game - but also leaves us more open too. The way it’s going, yeah, Everton either nick a 1-0 or it’s a dull 0-0.
As much as I like his effort, I never wanted us to sign Richarlison... nothing has really changed my view tbh
I’m happy to have him but he’s completely useless on the right flank… Lucas or Gil would be far better options when looking at RW. Don’t know why we don’t shift Son there though, he’s ambidextrous and dangerous on both flanks, Richarlison can then play LW where he’s impressed for us.
They said Richarlison was subbed off mid week due to a niggle in his calf I believe. So clearly he wasn’t 100% fit to start… why for the life of me we’ve started him when there’s plenty of options I’ll never know. Now he could be out for a spell that could’ve easily been prevented.
