Forest and Wolves are both on target to pick up a point so far with 45mins to go which puts Leeds on equal bottom in the form guide. I am concerned because after a great start the wheels have come off and yes plenty say we had a month off yet how does that explain how dog tired we got last week in the 2nd half. The football has been mainly shyt and the subs seemed pointless and wrong subs. Now some on here think Im a Marsch hater but not true I want my team to win and that means I want Marsch to get it sorted.

Wolves get a VAR penalty and make it 1-0 versus Forest.

    Correct decision.

Bottom 5 over the whole season doesn't even include us and we have games in hand. Stop it.

For example, we've collected 12 pts over the last 9 league games which would put us above Liverpool in the table and they were the 2nd best team in Europe last season. Surely means we are the best side in Europe on current form then.

With the fixtures we've had Emu we should be Top 8...especially after the Chelsea result.

Maybe so. I'm just going on what I'm seeing on the pitch and it's a huge improvement on last season.

I'm confident that as long as we continue playing like we have then we will pick up enough points.

Am I concerned about results? Yes, a little because I believe football is a confidence game and the longer the results go against us then the more confidence ebbs away.

Last season we started pretty much the same and then the injuries (Coops & KP) kicked in around November time.

Let's see what happens this time around.

except we shouldn’t have beaten Chelsea in the first place because they’re one of the top sides in Europe… so that’s us back Down to bottom half again on this new interesting concept that you beat who you’re supposed to beat

this is 100% correct - results are a concern because of the impact on confidence, you often see sides playing well but not getting results, gradually start to play worse.

so we do need to get points this week… the next 7 days brings 3 games… and we could really do with winning at least 1 of them.

Yep and if we'd beaten Wolves as we should have done then we'd have been Top 6 <laugh>

err we did beat Wolves though.

However what I would say is that given the postponement of the Forest and Scum games, we are on exactly the same amount of points I expected us to be on when I made my post on the 6th August.

If things go in accordance with Mystic Aski, then we will get 9 points from the next 6 games. If things don't go in accordance, then I will obviously change the brand of tea leaves that I buy ;)

I agree with Emu as I also believe we have a better team than last season. People talking about Phillips and Raphinha for get we had no Phillips or Bamford for most of the season we had Forshaw trying to be Phillips we also had Klich without legs and an average of 6 first team players out injured. If we had this squad last season we would have peed it and thats not getting into the Bielsa/Marsch argument. However this season too much has gone wrong tactically and continuing with Harrison seeing all the ball down the left when he's doubled up on is sheer stupidity. Marsch just needs to sort this shyt out

So why aren’t we “peeing” it this time? Are you saying JM ain’t up to it?

I am not happy with how things are going mate, he needs to sort this mess out fast because World Cup is coming and the way things are going we will be in the bottom 3. A good performance tomoz will gee the squad up and build confidence. Then we stand a chance to pick up points against Leicester and Fulham which should save his job.

mitrovic is keeping Fulham up, Solanke is not doing bad for Bournemouth yet Bamford has been missing for a year and we need goals

So we're facing relegation after 8 games, are we? ROFL. FFS, get a grip.

IMO, the PL has more talent & more competition than it's ever had. Sure, there's the top 6 battle that we're not involved in, but we're still in it when playing the remainder. But here's the funny thing - the 'NOTTop6' league is full of clubs who can beat each other. It's very rarely that there's a nailed-on result in 'NOTTop6 that everyone knew was coming. Far from it. This year is the most unpredictable PL ever imo. Anything can happen. Enjoy it, for if you listen to the growing number of moaners, we'll be relegated soon anyway. Where they'll moan again.

Me, I prefer to enjoy / hate the football in the same way I always have done. Can't have a decent season without shiiting yourself a few times.

As long as we're competitive & positive, I'm happy. And we are, btw!

Final thing - the month off almost certainly didn't do us the world of good. It was like starting the season all over again, where the rustiness is in full view. Bad, but even worse when there's so many new players in the team.
