They seem to think that there's some sort of comparison between spamalot and Pete, which there clearly isn't, as for one, Pete bothered to reply and add his own views, but even if there were, what seems to really sting is the response. They chucked teddies and dummies galore at Pete, and had a proper mass meltdown, whereas spamalot just evokes mild derision or gets ignored. They really don't like the fact that he's actually highlighting their own fragility and inability to offer a coherent argument. He's actually spamming them in effect.
It's always double standards with the lefties. Right wingers or centrist can criticise both sides and mock Liz Truss and Starmer in equal measures .
