Toney has scored his 54th goal in 100 starts for Brentford. If we could only find someone to replicate those sort of figures we’d be comfortably too half
Easily bud just stick one chance away. Bamford.. Joffy.. Rodrigo.. Not clinical enough. A lower league striker would put more away.
Interestingly, I remember a tv interview with Harry Redknapp, where he was questioned about his belief that you could take a non-league CF, play him in a PL team, & 9 out of 10 would continue to score goals. I can't remember the argument he put forward, but he was adament in his belief. Can't say I've ever heard of an example of this, tbf.

Does it work in reverse? Would paddy still miss sitter after sitter playing for the dog and duck on a Sunday at hackney marshes?
Probably we now have is he’s on a top contract and if we wanted to move him on I suspect we couldn’t give him away
The thing is 'Arry's got a point right there. I've lost track of players that have fallen down the leagues after being released by Scum or Arsenal to name 2 and have crawled back up to the Premier League. Ivan Toney was deemed not good enough for Newcastle then went to Peterborough and now he's in the England squad. It's to do with the team and your coach.
I wonder how close orta was to becoming Chelsea director of football? Did he fly to meet them on a private jet? Did he continue to finalise personal terms long after they said they were looking for someone else? Was he ready to sign but it was contingent on Angus kinnear going out as loan ceo to Fulham? Is he going to try again in January?
Apologies. A few vinos on board tonight. Preparing for next weekend in Leeds. Brain not firing as it should
