Don't think movies are where he thrives, Cloverfield was very hit and miss too. TV shows though he is fantastic.
Mate I've been non-stop at work for the past couple of days. At work last night till silly o'clock and likely to be the same tonight.. It's tough at the top RHC - I'll ring you tomorrow or over the weekend to have a good catch up
No worries. I suspected as much. Not much to catch up on. Just called when I was having a pint in my local.
JJ Abrams is brilliant but he seems to need series to produce his best stuff as films aren't long enough for him. Is Super 8 any good ?
So, no one else watched Top Boy? Final part tonight, grim and compelling viewing. I mentioned Southlands the other week too, another great american cop show that is fairly off the radar and worth a look.
Have got Top Boy on the Sky+ box and will probably watch it in the next week or so. Saw it advertised on the telly and in the paper and it does look very good.
It starts off great but it really tails off after you find out what's in the train and after that the film goes downhill, fast.
Watching this (Elite Squad) tonight, it looks really good.
Think it was recommended in here by Lil Jatt, watched Grave Encounters last week. Not a bad show but seems familar to House on Haunted Hill but with less money thrown at it.
The build up was good I thought but then when they actually threw in the ghosts is where it became a bit, not dull, but predictable I guess? They take the absolute piss out of all of the ghost adventures, hunters, paranormal etc.
This is gonna be a corker of a film, especially for those that enjoyed 'Fear and Loathing...'
