Sorry Kiwi. You are right I should have given some background. This is on GB News ( which is a very polarised news channel,) .. around the time when Brexit happened over 95 % of the people who they polled on their website were in favour of Brexit. ( no surprise there) Now with the very same skewed population of viewers, 45 % think it was a bad idea, and want to rejoin the EU.. That was the point I was making.
You're not comparing like with like. The EU figure was one year, after the general panic of the pandemic was over. In other words, this amount of loss from negligence and fraud is business as usual.
Absolutely right Kiwi - Labour has run the NHS in Wales since devolution. Whilst the NHS in England may be far from perfect, it’s better than it is here in Wales.
What odds 1st line " we have listened ". I personly love the total meltdown of the tory party, just feel so sorry for the millions in poverty due to the many many years of Austerity
The right thing economically but embarrassing for her to throw Kwarteng under the bus and admit Sunak was right. She’s toast anyway but my uninformed money would be on Nadhim Zahawi if he’s not busy drowning orphans or something.
The problem is, whomever she brings in, must know they may not be in long if Truss goes. So who, of substance, would want that poison chalice? Jeremy Hunt?
How many chancellors will this make it if kamikwasi goes? Seems its easier than getting a job in McDonalds nowadays.
I don't agree that everyone who watches GB News (I never have) is necessarily of a "skewed" viewpoint. I know, for example, that Stainsey used to watch it. Would you call him a supporter of the Tories?
