In truth being in a completely different country is a curse and blessing, curse cos I want to be there with him and be with family. Blessing because I don't have to see a man who I remember dragging me up mountains and around Wales, strong as ****, in that state. Poor man is a young soul trapped in his body, I think it's hell for him in truth. Patriarch of the family and I think he did a good job with us all.
Sad news bud. Just cherish those times with him, never met my dad's parents, both died before I was born and only met my mom's twice but there's that special bond, even if only for a short while.

I get you bro I remember when my dad passed away we give our dead a ritual bath/cleanse before the funeral procession…usually carried out by close male members of he family or female if the deceased is female. I was thinking like yourself…didn’t want that image in my head…until my mate reminded me that I won’t ever see him again…ever…and that he deserves that you honour him. Whenever I look back and I look back often and randomly…I’m thankful my mate said that to me that morning. Everyone deals with it differently though and I respect that
I've stopped talking to her about you all on here, she says that you are all more important than her so I've had to tone it down bragging about how good this place is. I'm not seeing my bird now until next Saturday. We see each other for a week and then have a week to ourselves. It's the only way I can do it, I can't be around any woman 24/7. It does my head in. I'm making a beef stew, everything grown in the village, not sure about the mushrooms like.
