He struggled against that winger but he wasn't the only only to struggle either. I think now Robbo is back, we may see Tsimikas go RB
I didn't see that, but I remember his glee at Messi's goal when we were beaten by Barca a few years ago. He doesn't like us obviously - but in all honesty I can see similar reactions by ex-Liverpool players when misfortune strikes at Man U.
IMO on Rio the **** head (and maybe just my opinion) BUT if i am paying good ****ing money to BT (and to sky sports) then i really don't want to see filthy mancs celebrating when my team is playing and having any issues. It was bad enough for mancs to "put up" with hanson and larwenson and souness etc when they were winning all before them but now we have this classless social media society where they no longer pretend to be serious or neutral and act the clown to get a rise. I don't want to ever see rio Ferdinand near a LFC game and i Certainly don't want to see rat boy neville mealy mouthing and sniggering every 5 minutes on sunday. If there was an option I'd pay to a different broadcaster and explain to both I'm leaving your **** service due to your **** pundits on the wind every game. At this point i'd even put wup with alan smith and his stuff as it was actually better than hearing neville snigger and love every LFC error no mater hwo we play. Seeing ferdinand actively celebrate goals against is beyond the bounds. just delete imo. Don't want to know. I can't abide with LFC TV BW, I don't like listening to aldo sniffing his way though commentary and talking over the commentator ruining every move and I think Gillespie and the like are boring so I don't want partisan stuff for the club either. In this day and age, an honest, live service that calls the game is too much to ask?
Most importantly, no new injuries (i think) We got konate 70 odd minutes We got robertson back we gave salah a kick in the arse and a confidence boost. We rested thaigo only time will tell now how any of that benefits us. hopefully we will hit man city with agression and play well
As a paid pundit he's supposed to be impartial isn't he? Obviously if a pundit's former club were playing, you'd expect the emotion but Rangers means nothing to him. It was very odd.
I don't mind them being biased so long as they're openly biased. Hansen and Lawrenson used to get on my nerves on MOTD because they'd tried to claim they weren't when they clearly were. I don't mind Neville because he openly admits he's a Man Utd fan and wants us to lose. Carragher does the same ther other way. Mcmanaman still tries to be impartial but obviously isn't and it's annoying. People doing this often go too far the other way to compensate too.
If we had to "endure" these clowns for 5mins ok, put some other clown up beside him and have a childish banter session of a shot we could switch on or off. but we don't. Sky put neville on near enough 100% of our games and its 90minutes of snide every game. the difference is carragher might be in studio (can stand him either) and comes on for maybe 30 second a couple times a game to "bantz" with neville or whatever. If i had the option to switch off sky commentary and make the point i won't listen to that clown he's ruining my enjoyment of the show. i'm fairly sure he'd be hauled in quick smart. Game in and game out is tiresome.
Apparently Salah is getting some stick after his hat-trick, he went straight down the tunnel after ther game without acknowledging the fans.
Carragher is usually on commentary too but takes a back seat. I understand what you're getting at with Neville but there are far worse than him though
Pundits will always be biased towards their former clubs. I don't have a problem with it either it would be surprising if they weren't, although Carragher has surprised me a few times with silly comments against Liverpool. As you say, sometimes they are over compensating for their bias.
