    It's likely that former Newcastle United defender Sebastien Bassong is looking to leave Tottenham Hotspur after falling down the pecking order at the North London club.

    Anybody fancy him returning?

    We need another CB don't we!?

    I think he will be decent cover but would have to play second fiddle; which is the reason he wants to leave Spurs, so I can't see us getting him. Plus he jumped ship, see ya Bassong!

    Although if he could tackle everyone like he did on Kenwyne Jones that time, then yes, I'll have him. what a great tackle!

    I think it's a bit much to say he was over-rated - he had some pretty outstanding performances in a black & white shirt.

    He always seemed to play well even when the rest of the team were a shambles.

    Would make great cover for newcastle, but he's on about 55k a week so doubt Mr Ashley would pay that for cover. But would make a great 1st choice centre back for QPR and your chairman wouldn't be deterred from his wage demands. <ok>

    Well once we qualify we'll have to think about getting some cover in, I think Puyol's contract is running out, could probably manage to cover Colo <ok>
