I was just thinking the same thing reading that article on BBC by Tom English, maybe his name should read Tom English NOT Scottish.
I aint usually one to jump on the "Media are cumming over this team" bullshit, because that is normally dribbled out by people cos of sour grapes, but this article, jesus christ.
He basically says, and this is paraphrasing, "Rangers only led because they are cheating ****s, and Liverpool are back baby *spooge"
They walloped a team who'd struggle to finish mid table in the PL.
Its a good result and all that, but come on.
And here is the sour grapes part....Chelsea beat the Serie A Champions in back to back fixtures 5-0 over two games and barely a word uttered.
Mid championship the Scottish sides for me. Lacking in any real quality all over the pitch.
Mid table championship at best. Even then, they'd get dragged into the yearly relegation battle.
They'd be eaten alive in the championship, let alone the PL, they're ****e. As are Celtic.
Can't see a reason that anyone would rate Celtic over Norwich, QPR or Sheffield Utd.
With what evidence? Every single time they go up against even average Serbian teams the Scottish teams look poor and lose.

Thinking about it, the Old Firm do get regularly battered in the Europa League by Eastern European nobodies.
well much as this years Rangers side are rubbish last year they beat Dortmund ,Red Star Belgrade , Braga & RB Leipzig on the way to the Europa league final .
They did last season aye.
But the main problem is with the Old Firm, and scottish football in general, is that if you are a Scottish kid, and you are good at football, you are going to play for a Premier League team aint ya!
Its an hour down the road, and even the mid and bottom teams probably pay three times the salary of the scottish clubs.
When you compare Celtic and Rnagers now to the type of players they had in the 90's and 2000's, when they had players like Larsson, Sutton, Gazza, Laudrup, Van Bronckhorst, even players like Colin Hendry, were solid. He played in a World cup.
