Probably both. It will be said in pretty much every season when we are not at least five points clear at the top of the table and rolling our CL opponents over. And as last year showed, sometimes it will even be said when we are doing both...

Hello swarbs. Sniffing around again, are you? By the way, even the scientists who did the neutrino - speed of light thing have asked for independant proof. They think another dimension may have been involved.

I thought their main concern was systematic error in the measurements?

The stats were pretty positive. I just can't see it myself, not in pure physical terms anyway. They do have mass, so unless E = MC2 is wrong then it can't happen.

yeah but if the inner radius of a ring donut is equal to the mass of a spent pink grapefruit, then it would rip a tear in the fabric of the space time continuum, that would in effect cause an tsunami the size of say Cheadle Hulme

I saw a fairy the other day and she said that she'd grant me one wish.
"I wish to live forever" I said.
"Sorry, I can't grant wishes like that" She responded.

"fine" I said "I want to live until the next time Liverpool win the league"

"You crafty ****!" said the fairy

From what I read, given how small the difference was, it apparently could have been differences in the gravitational field of the measuring device, or the fact that such large beams were sent they couldn't tell how quickly the individual neutrons were travelling. The stats show the study was internally valid, but until it's repeated with different parameters you can't say it was externally valid.

It's funny how this **** always begins in jest, and then RHC and Swarbs get going and suddenly the thread turns into a seminar on the theory of relativity.

I'd quite happily rattle you all off a few posts about women writers in the Renaissance, but somehow I don't think you'd appreciate it...

    Morning..

RR I can confirm I have no interest in bridges..

I can whittle on about the vagaries of the housing Market and my theory relating to trouble abroad and demand for houses in this country.. Coupled with my proposals to the banking system..

    I'm good thanks.

I'm well into the 'perpetual cold' season which I always love but other than that loooking forward to the weekend. I'm going to fire up the log burner for the first time this season tomorrow and attempt to win my 4th club comp in a row on Sunday. No doubt one of my kids will get ill or something to put the khybosh on it all though!
