I think you made the point before. Its f#cking Rangers, not City! They’ll fold if you put them under better pressure and I’d wager that’s exactly what we do in the second half. <ok>

    Their goal was down to

    A) zero pressure on long ball. Nunez and firmino have basically stopped doing anything and fallen I to the head tennis ball watching mode.
    B) midfield being awol (nothing to do with a press as they should still be present )
    C) cbs being 5 miles apart when we didn't have ball (why???l)

The second tsimikas lost the header they were in on a midfield runner that we should have been easily in psotion for and the gap was for vvd following someone out he shouldn't have.

But the rest of half was fairly disastrous in terms of having to defend box and make blocks and scramble.

Thus far carvalho and Elliott have had zero impact. It'd help if nunez just kept one single ball.

    The basics.

Nobody is scared of our attack. There are few teams now that see the benefit of sitting with ten deep.

Especially as everyone now knows our defense is there for the taking, especially if they oh I don't know play 3 upfront to exploit the space left by our fullbacks and lack of defensive midfielder.

I'd assume it would be easier to make a team harder to score against, clog the field up and build from there, than try to score 4 everymatch by trying to catch the centre back with the ball by trying a pointless press.

Utter garbage. Even with injuries and bad form, Rangers are League One standard at best, and really, they deserve to be ahead at halftime. I didn't think tonight would be easy, but this is rank. Nunez making all the right runs, but tripping over the ball again when he gets it. We're just running into cul-de-sacs on the left, and not running at all on the right. Fab seems better than he has been, but this is Tsimi's worst game for us - their right-winger has him on toast. Joe's on his own on the right again (just as Trent normally is). Elliott and Carvo look like youth team players getting a game in the League Cup.

Press or not…it doesn’t matter….we’ve fallen a long way in what? 14 games? Shocking really.

There goal was **** all to do with the long ball and all to do the player being to far forward.

Carvalho had the ball, got it knicked of him and they where right in.

The long ball was a hoof to the right wing, please don't make out it was a pinged ball out.

They'll fold if we keep hold if the ball and actually pass it.

They shouldn't have the opportunity to think what they should do with the ball, they shouldn't have it in the first place!

I agree with this but we cannot have 100% possession so when we don’t have it…..let’s snap at them, like we used too….

Elliot and Carvalho are out of their depth, against a very average side. We really are very poor at the moment and are probably lucky to be level. What is wrong with Tsimikas, he is getting skinned because he is able to defend against their winger

    Question

    How do we score here?

We got one of set piece.

    One shot off carvalho.

A few nunez half runs that went nowhere.

Hardly a lot of positivity so far for us.

It doesn't take much for teams to sense blood.

Our weakness have always been there, but teams are now exploiting them. Klopp hasn't been able to change the team/personel enough to cover those weaknesses.

Rio Ferdinand doing the Messi at Barca semi-final celebration. I hope Klopp showed them that at halftime. :emoticon-0112-wonde

    You keep.missimg the point mate.

You don't. You just rush the kick so the chances are it won't go where he wants it to.

I've sat watching keepers like even Jones who could not kick the ball at all playing pass after pass in warm up onto a dinner plate for coaches

These lads know where their team mates are wanting to run. It's not trent of vvd on a dime.from 40 yards but it doesn't have to be.

We just need to.make it uncomfortable.
