Wolves supposedly interviewed Rob Edwards for their vacancy today. Need that vacancy out the way and maybe refocus Pedro.
Is there anything our supporter’s are generally happy with? It’s a bit tiresome and tedious reading all the bashing posts. If it’s not Radio Humberside it’s The Hull Daily Mail. Or the players.
Agreed, the fact that he was clearly willing to join us, it would have been punching well above our weight for us.. Acun should have done everything to get it over the line.. hopefully he did..
Beri Pardo has been interviewed. Would be an excellent move IMO, he’s very highly regarded in European football as the next Villas Boaz.
Someone needs to have a word with Acun and explain that all this ‘rather lose 4-3 than draw 1-1’ bollocks is all well and good for the neutral Turkish fan watching City play on a stream to get their 90-minute dose of supposed entertaining football, but in reality, that will get us relegated to League 1. No team can survive our current defensive form. Conceding 2 goals a game or more is not sustainable. He needs to swallow some pride, take a step back from the football side of things and entrust a coach of high-calibre to whip this squad into shape whilst he does what he’s good at, which is the business and marketing side of things.
Interesting, he spent 3 years at Palace as a scout, so he knows English football. Only 32, currently assistant manager, can we take that risk?!
Surely nobody over the age of 25 would think the Hull Daily Mail/Hull Live is anything but complete trash? It used to be an excellent local paper and in the standards of decades gone by provided adequate sports news for the local clubs. But now, in an age where you can read the thoughts of some excellent sports writers, former players and football experts on social media at the touch of a button, we have Barry Cooper spreading tittle tattle like a teenager on Facebook quoting his 'source' like we are meant to give him some kudos for it. We all know people, we can all go online and find out things as fast as he can, he either needs to be a journalist and start asking questions or they may as well pop him on the 'news' desk with the other cranks who are currently testing what it is like to go on a bus and trying Bob carvers at Hull Fair to let people know what it's like according to Hull Live twitter account
No, apart from all the click bait and encouraging xenophobia, putting down the city and general insensitiveness it’s a good paper really.
Who? Thought we'd got loads of interest from quality candidates but now we're interviewing people with little or no managerial experience?
