I'm after a new little car because they are cheap to run, insure etc.

I don't want something like Fiat 500 because its a Fiat and it is a 50s throw back. So that rules out a Mini as well.

I want something with a bit of quality and was thinking of maybe a Clio or an Audi A1. Or a Mito perhaps, but is that just a case of style over substance.

My problem with them is they are a bit more than I would like to pay by virtue of being an Audi and are a bit boring on the inside.

The lights at the front make it look a bit sinister, which is good.

I have an old mini and its genuinely the most fun I've ever had driving. Not the most reliable and can literally burn money, but if you've never owned/driven one then do so ASAP!

My mate has the new Meganne Sport (not quite as mini as the others but still a hatch back) and its gorgeous looking and ****ing rapid!

Less cool but cheaper and great according to top gear is the Yaris or Fiesta's are meant to be decent these days!

Alfa Romeo Mito is where it is at. Although I am a huge Alfa fan. What about a 147? I had one and they were sublime :)

I don't fancy anything much bigger than a Yaris, Clio, Polo etc so I can rule out a Megane, they are good looking mind. I've driven Minis before (both old and new). The old ones are essentially go karts with a roof.

Fiestas have horrible dashboards so that a no. A Yaris I'm indifferent to, yes its going to do what it says on the tin but it lacks a bit of style like the Mito. As a current Micra driver I yearn for a bit of style.

(And on a side note, theres been rumblings about the quality of the Sunderland board and that there is nothing on anything other than football. Yet if you post anything else, none of my fellow Sunderland fans bother to contribute.)

If you want a quirky wee car that looks so cool, you should try a Daihatsu Copen.

Ignore the CRAAS they can only dream of owning a car - and also talk s h i t e all of the time.

I just got a hilarious image of you (Richard Griffiths) driving around Sunderland shouting obscenities out of a convertible Diahatsu Copen. Thanks.

    Who the f u c k are you like - Mr 16 posts

I simply hate the CRAAS, especially the ones who are obsessed with this board - I also detest mag lovers - so run along before we fall out

Had a 147 a few years ago... 2 litre twin sport... Beautiful, but it was the most temperamental motor ever.

On a scirocco now. It's the nuts.
