‘If that doesn’t get me out of jury duty, I don’t know what will’: Man claims that he gets his news from TikTok on jury duty survey https://www.msn.com/en-gb/lifestyle...pc=U531&cvid=eee5c2916b66472ab4a02b4d960c6f4c
It says a lot about them that they feel the need to add such a clause, and it's outrageous that someone gets the big pension for life for only serving a short time but: 1) Would you stick to it for the money? 2) Would you refuse it anyway because you're true to the cause and don't want to waste EU money, or because you don't want to be tainted by EU money? Me, I'd take the money, and carry on exactly as I am. If they took it off me for my opinions, that would just be what it is. New Labour architect Peter Mandelson is entitled to an EU pension of around £31,000 a year – if he follows its rules. Brussels’ rules mean he could lose it if he fails to ‘behave with integrity and discretion’ towards the institution – effectively a safeguard against conflicts of interest. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/oth...pc=U531&cvid=fa1d47cfe7a7422fa1875e9f06d1b4e2

The German Covid Nazis have started mandatory mask requirements again. Also comparing their Nazi leaders to Nazis on social media will get their doors booted in by German Nazi coppers. Bloody Brexit https://www.dw.com/en/new-german-co...s-infections-rise-in-colder-months/a-63305695
Filled up on the A6 north of Lyon today. Bit of a queue but mainly people sodding about trying to pay with cards at the pumps. Cost €1.96 a litre for diesel but that's still no more expensive than the UK.
