If he could handle the economy as efficiently as he does his own personal finances ...

... it would've been better than a woman who has the attention span of a toddler.

Johnson was kicked out by his mates and I think he wanted out ... it was the title he wanted, not the job.

If Sunak got the gig, if Boris kept his job...

None of which happened. We are now a lot worse off and we've still got over 2 years of Liz Truss policies. Strap yourself in its going to get rough.

Johnson couldn't have kept his job, he was an utter disgrace and too far gone. Sunak could have 'got the gig', it was the wrong decision for the country that Truss was selected.

Not that I would have wanted the slippery, tax avoider either mind.

Just as it was the wrong decision that Ed Milibalnd got the job instead of his brother David.

That's kind of how it should work, surely. The Health Secretary should be all over Health. Maybe a passing knowledge of other issues but not enough to give the type of specifics the media always wants. Ask the right people the right questions.

Has there ever been a Health Minister who looks more unhealthy ...

... her skin looks like she's been mummified.

And why do these people accept interviews then not even give an opinion..

Government is supposed to be in support of, and have knowledge of, their own policies ...

.... it's just avoidance when they claim no knowledge.

Considering she could be running the show if anything were to happen to Truss its a frightening lack of knowledge. Exactly that happened when BoJo was hospitalised with Covid so it's not beyond the realms of possibility. What a mess.

My I say a brief word in praise of Exile.

He is obviously trying hard to defend the indefensible.
It reminds me of "tis but a scratch " Monty Python's Black Knight sketch.

If anybody can put up the youtube of it they may see what I mean. (Beyond my tech capabilities)

I don't agree with your opinion of Exile, who has some very worthwhile contributions, but here it is . . . .

So tax cuts to remain unfunded then as she's pledged that there will be no cuts to public spending? Interesting to see what the markets' reaction is to that...

Agree, it's always good to hear contributions which differ from your own view of life, making you question what you have said. Much better than name calling which a few seem to adopt if others hold different opinions.

Whatever the markets do some will blame the media for reporting it ...
