“The aim is to win football matches… which obviously we’re not doing either” Milky if we were winning matches I wouldnt give a flying fk, but it looks crap, its disorganised, and its losing matches and fans support. And seriously Milky check the league table Forest are the only team with worse results than Leeds over the last 5 games, so the view that we are 2 points better off than last season for the first 8 is meaningless as the last 5 games clearly show we are on a relegation projection and Marsch needs to stop talking a good game and it sorted
Chill out Doc. Seasons aren't defined by a 5 game run of results. Prior to this run we were in the top 4 after beating Chelsea who were European Champions 14 months earlier. It's cyclical and hopefully we turn the corner soon and the results will return.
Hey Doc. Respect your opinion. If we lose the next 5 (and we have some tough games) I might even agree with it. We need a bit of luck. Because we haven’t had any. Don’t agree on the football being terrible or disorganised - though we were poor second half yesterday. Terrible and disorganised is what we looked like when sides were banging 6 and 7 past us last year.
Respect your opinion and Emu’s too but Im losing patience. Marsch had 12 games last season and because of the situation I gave him the benefit of the doubt and then a brilliant start for the first 3 games where we could have had even more points, but If I give Marsch great marks for Leicester last season where we were undone by Barnes at the death and the Brentford result thats only 2 games from 12 and 3 from 8 this season or in other words 5 decent performances from 20. Not good enough for me. I need him to turn it around and its not just me, the fans are turning on Marsch in droves.
You have to let last year go doc… he inherited a car crash and was just trying to keep us up. this year is different. Full pre-season, new players some of which are obviously his personal choice. caveat is it still takes time to gel, Ask the forest manager, and we flogged our two best players. Under the circumstances most felt avoiding relegation was the goal. Anything better a bonus. But here we all are, getting hot under the collar when we lose a few a games. Genuinely we’ve been competitive in pretty much every game. Win them? lose them? on the day that’s a mistake… or a great goal… or a referee mistake. At Brentford it was all 3. That’s what’s deciding these games… we’re not getting steamrollered every week.
We had a bit of luck go our way on Sunday with the first goal in my opinion. Back off the post straight to Struijk and then his scuffed shot goes between the legs of the defender on the line. Problem is we didn't take advantage of that good fortune so exactly how much good luck do we need to actually win a game ?
Reading comments about us being disorganised under JM. I recall an interview where he stated that his intention was to create chaos, & tbh, I think he's done it. It's intentional. Deliberately unpredictable as often as possible. And sometimes it works. Please don't see this as approval on my part, btw, I'm simply passing this on in the hope that it helps people better understand what he's doing.
The way Leeds play under Marsch is certainly chaotic so job done no one knows what the ****s going on until the oppo work it out and Leeds run out of steam. Answer is to have more chaos but make it last 90 minutes by getting the players even fitter, introducing the subs earlier and telling them to run around like headless chickens. That should do the trick
I see the halo is slipping from St Klopp. He's having a go at Didi Hamman for comments he made after the scousers defeat at arsenal. He all smiles and jokes when he's winning. What a knob.
