"Champions cup" final! Tiote scores from outside the box in the 90th minute to make it 2-1, his first game back from a dislocated shoulder that put him out for 8 weeks! YESH!
My HDMI wire that's plugged on the PS3 is ****ed :'(, I just learned to not plug it out too hard and take it softly, **** my life
I know right! They have the perfect blend of speed and strength. Except their defense is ****e, but who cares when you have Drog, Doumbia and Gervinho up front!
The edit stats thing is there for a reason. If you think Fifa's default ratings are harsh or too generous to a player, you can change them. I edit stats so the players in our squad that are under rated are put up to their real stats, and I also decrease our players stats if i think they are over rated in a certain way. I haven't really dramatically improved anyone except Leon Best, who was very under rated on the game. Overall yes Newcastle United have improved after my edits but we're still far off most top teams. I have not edited the stats to give myself an advantage, It's just after my edits, the team feels like it does in real life. When i play with the toon on default, it doesn't feel like I'm playing with Newcastle tbh. Colo is far too strong and too slow, Saylor is weak as piss, Jonas can't beat anyone because his pace and dribbling skills are too low compared to what they are in real life. Ben Arfa is technically the strongest player in the air we have on Fifa 12, in terms of attacking, on Fifa 12's default ratings. It just doesn't feel right. Scoring flying headers with Ben Arfa? Most of the players I'm against pick top teams like Barca, Real, City ect. They still have a massive advantage over me, and i still beat them. People have challenged me to play without Newcastle, and I still rape most of them. I picked Stoke city, and pwned these arseholes using Barca. Anyway, what i do is different to UT booster cards. Boosting cards take away the fun in the game. You might as well just buy the 11 cheapest players, and use a load of boost cards and you'd get the same results as you would with 11 good players. Rant over.
Bamba and Kolo are beasts. Tiene's average enough...no idea who the RB is, but those 3 are decent defenders!
Jonas isn't remotely quick in real life, fifa normally make him too fast. Ben Arfa might have good jumping, but because he is small he isn't that good in the air. Jumping on fifa is ver different to jumping on football manager. It's not surprising to see small people with good jumping, they tend to have more spring in their leap. Big people with rubbish jumping just means they haven't got a big leap, they still win lots in the air. I still find Steven Taylor better in the air than most. You exaggerate all your points way too much. The point that nearly everyone has tried and failed to get through to you is that it should be a level playing field online. It should always be default squads, set up the way everyone is used to. You can only put one boost card on a player at a time I rarely see them used, it doesn actually tell you when someone is using them. At best you'll see everything up by like 5 or someones pace or shooting up by 10. Never really makes a huge difference anyway.
Jonas hasn't got phenomenal pace, but he's fast enough to beat fullbacks and worry defenders. He can accelerate past players well, which is one of the main reasons he get fowled a lot, a long with his dribbling ability. And ffs, my edits don't make it unfair on the opposite player, it doesn't give me any significant advantage unless I was playing someone that was using the default Newcastle, but the person that was using the default Newcastle would have and advantage over me in someways. So unless someone plays a game with me when we're both using Newcastle, it doesn't really mean anything. And btw the boosting cards can boost a player up to 10 in a certain aspect. This guy managed to outsprint Clichy with Torres with ease. He used a pace card on Torres, Lukaku, Bale (As if he wasn't fast enough) and Bent. Lukaku was just impossible to get off the ball and mark for any significant amount of time without taking your eye off another dangerous play, and this guy kept on chipping lob passes over and every so often there was just nothing that i could have done but hope my keeper saved his shot. Anyway, the edits don't spoil the game at all, as long as you use them in the right way.
"FYI: Big patch coming for #FIFA12. Working at putting all the details together now. Live on PC. With MS/Sony now for testing."
Anybody else notice the change of Toon ratings on Head to Head Seasons? Do they use live season or something?
