1000s were let out early due to Covid and bail reforms & in Democrat cities like New York means most criminals don't have to post bail and released hours after going into custody. Add to that the law that police don't arrest people for theft below $1000 and of course crime is skyrocketing. A guy smashed up a New York McDonalds with an axe last week and was let go straight away .
