Did the guy with the gun brandish it , threaten or shoot anyone? There are middle aged women that sauntered into the Capitol with police holding the doors open being held in solitary confinement as political prisoners . How many of the BLM prisoners that took over whole areas of cities and burned down court houses and police stations in prison ? There is no sane comparison

The argument was that the NRA funds Republicans and as a direct result Republican ran cities are unsafe compared to anti gun Democrat run cities . The truth is the total opposite, there are way more legally owned guns in Republican run cities but less gun crime and homicides. Armed robberies tend to end quickly when law abiding shop owners and citizens can defend themselves, it's clearly a deterrent too.
