There's the problem right there. Where's the bacon, eggs, mushrooms. Tomatoes, fried bread. The boys are undernourished.

Not forgetting the sausages, beans and black pudding. Nobody mention hash browns.

For me, hash browns are by far the most important part! Extra crispy too!

Don't do breakfast (unless paid for on holiday, in which case it doubles as lunch) but certainly wouldn't want that concoction.

Earlier in the summer we stayed at a fantastic B&B in Moffat, he really does cater for bikers - his breakfasts are awesome, I usually go for the full Scottish but one day I tried his fluffy pancakes with bacon and molasses - lovely salty streaky bacon and the sweetness of molasses, heaven on a plate! A few pics of the place for perusal ...

Nah, pair of, on the bone, bacon and toast on the side. Trick is to cook the kippers outside on a gas bbq, cooks from frozen if needed and no stink indoors :emoticon-0148-yes:

It really is - the guy and sons who run it are all bikers too, they used to operate a free motorcycling route website 'MotoGoLoco' until Google realised how popular it was and asked them to pay 10k a week for using their maps on the site! They closed the website down but can still give you hundreds of routes in the Borders as GPX files (they'll load them onto your satnav for you) - always awesome routes; it's that great a place we've stayed there five times!

In an Indian once, family ordered main dishes with naan bread, rice and, yes, chips. Needless to say they were all a bit, err, rotund. Even the kids...:emoticon-0101-sadsm

If you have chips with breakfast, it becomes brunch, then you're allowed wine with it. FACT.

Chips with an Indian is sacrilege unlike curry sauce with haddock and chips.
