Yeah hilarious that we have an incompetent manager that can’t get the team performing and most of the fan base are fed up watching an awful team that loses every week. I’m pissing myself.
I'm sorry, but watching middle aged men throwing online tantrums about something they have absolutely no control over is both hilarious and pathetic. Maybe their efforts would be better directed towards supporting the team.
An individual rant in isolation might be futile, but when there is an overwhelming sense of anger and antagonism towards a club, then they will certainly take notice. And if attendance numbers start to decline and booing and negative songs can be heard in the stands, it's usually inevitable what comes next. Anyway, whether you are Out or In, I'd say the current state of the club is anything but hilarious.
We are going to be quality in a few years when all the players get good. If they are still here. And we are still in the Prem
There are probably many reasons why Ralph is still here, chief amongst which is that I suspect the club will want a replacement fully lined up, and that may take time (for instance, if we want Jaissle, we have to negotiate with him and Salzburg etc to get it over the line).
I'm sure that most, probably not all, will still be supporting the team on Sunday in the ground. You know, where it matters.
We’ve just appointed a whole new coaching team, so any new manager will need to be willing to work with them. Also they’d need to be willing to accept a transfer policy in which they have little input. A lot of managers might want their own team plus total control over the transfer budget.
Maybe we promote from within the new team? I don’t run a football club, but a long term view would be to employ people with a few possible scenarios over the short term. One of those would be the Manager gets pushed or walks. This is what makes me laugh about rants on here. SR have invested a lot of money in us, yet experts here and everywhere think they know how to run a multi million pound business - may I say based solely on emotion. The SR owners got wealthy from sound business decisions and are more than aware of what to do to maintain and increase their wealth. We all have opinions, but ultimately I trust SR to make the right non emotional decisions based on what is best for the club and their business. Oh and like Tom said, I don’t want to be a middle aged man losing my **** over things I have zero control over and frankly doesn’t in the scheme of things affect me or my family. IMHO obviously.
I'd forgotten about Ralph's washing machine analogy #7, your sig reminded me. Looks like Ralph's tenure has currently left the rinse and is in the final spin cycle...
I think all important decisions in life should be driven by emotion, and taken in the heat of the moment. And whenever anything fails to go my way, someone somewhere needs to be sacked.
I'll be there until the end and won't be booing if all goes wrong on the field. Reason? Pointless when you have the hierarchy there seeing it for themselves and will make their decisions in their own time. Hopefully I'll find some decent chat around whilst there. As far as I know we're not going to a funeral so let's get behind the team for 90 + mins!
Did anyone else read 'middle aged men throwing a tantrum over something they have no control over' and automatically think politics fred Actually sums up the internet pretty well in general imo.
I don't like this mob hysteria all wanting to lynch Ralph. Are they the same impetuous people who voted for the Tories and for Brexit? It seems to be the same unthinking response to the situation. Never forget the rule of unintended consequences.
