Just watched the full game this morning and the lads are looking good. different class to Stoke yesterday our strikers are in a hot streak. always on the front foot and thoroughly dominated from start to finish Infact I don't even think Stoke had a shot. time will tell with some of these, but things are looking promising we have started very well but the hard work has to continue.
Great to see the young Irish kid Charlie Allen starting to live up to his potential at last. Been around the 23s last season and now the 21s but dominating either on the right or in the middle. Young McGurk also
Our 21s played against 9 Sunderland first team players, hence a tough tough game but we ground it out. Our defenders were all rated as 8s including Klaesson in goal.
Think it was pretty much the Sunderland bench from the weekend plus a few others. So definitely a stronger side than they would normally put out but then you could say we had 5/6 ‘first teamers’ too.
