Pearson says he needs his 'big' players to step up.
We need Williams, James, Naismith back asap let alone Kalas.
Can't understand Pearson selecting King in defence. It was a massive error - it's left field but Martin - a 'big' player would have cleared those Birmingham set pieces.
We lost it and on the back foot from the first few minutes Saturday, they were 'up' and so was their crowd.
Our lot seem to have lost our pressing game and confidence.

Was always a big argument of mine when many, especially the haters that wanted rid of "You know who"!!...
Availability.. decent.. affordable.. narrowed down to wanting to come here....apart from the usual doing the rounds, not many to choose from!

More chance of Redprint and Onefor agreeing on something than Dyche coming here. In fact more chance of JGF and Ashton agreeing on a political party

I always thought big Dave looked much more useful when doing that than he was up front for us!! <laugh>
It's not as crazy as it sounds; defenders go forward all the time, why not strikers helping out at the back? Good idea RP.

That wasn't meant as a dig at your comment RP - it was a generalised statement based on my assumption that most football fans would think playing a striker as a defender was crazy - but it's NOT crazy. I was agreeing with you <cheers>

    I gathered that R&W.
Sorry if I came across as if I thought it was a 'dig'.
What I really hoped you'd say 'what a brilliant, insightful comment that only a brilliant football brain would dare suggest'.
    Is that better ?

How long do you think it will be before some team takes a punt on Sarina Weigman? It won’t be us as she is not used to losing.

To be dead honest ROD I know vaguely about Sarina Weigman, she is Dutch and was, I assume still is England woman's football manager with a strong reputation, I have very little knowledge of female football, I hardly think she would be interested in our team, it would be a different ball game if she did apply, first club in the country with a female headcoach.

It’s not as bad as you think now. Some don’t like it, but I was like that till I watched that tournament earlier. It pains me to say I think the England team are really good.

I enjoy watching England Women, as you say they are really good, and enjoyable to watch. I’ve no interest in the women’s league though. Bit like cricket, I enjoy test match cricket, have no interest In county cricket.

    I love County cricket.
I get the early train at Castle Cary, meet mates for breakfast in Taunton and then to the County ground.
Nothing is better for me or more relaxing than sat with old teammates having a beer watching bat on ball.
Just peed off there's too much limited overs cricket, not a County match in the whole of August.

a few years ago 5/6 when they finished 3rd bt Germany ... kept the ball at corner post everytime they got it after taking the lead near the end only watched this game a world cup game ... I was smitten !!
Have commented on here a few times .. if BCFC played like them we would be top 6 or better ... v USA a week ago were really good positioning is superb ......
