They have. The ones you could actually talk to about football are now complete pricks like the rest of the Geordie nation!

They not arsed mate but if it was a zero hours contract they would be livid! There is another thing that's different here and the true reason one bothered them and the other didn't but I can't quite put my finger on it! :emoticon-0164-cash:

Newcastle supporters set themselves up for a massive fall with the outrageous lengths they went to protesting about Ashley. This was an owner who the likes of Derby, Burnley, Coventry, etc, would die for. He rescued the club, took them into Europe, brought in a series of internationals and backed the managers when they needed it. He brought in Rafa the Messiah ffs.

So now, when the owners are actually murdering torturing homophobic racist monsters their inaction and acceptance is inadvertently making them out to be enormous hypocrites ...

... and that's why the Saudis knew they were onto a good thing with these people. Supporters of Man Utd or Arsenal wouldn't have been so accepting.

Happily the Mags know, despite their bravado, that they're being taken for fools and the players are being bought with blood money. Howe knows it, you can see it in his face. It's actually fascinating to watch men, who consider themselves to be decent, desperately trying to finds ways to avoid accepting how corrupt their salaries are.

Who's paying them is the question ...

... we are is the answer.

Howe particularly is cringeworthy to watch. At Bournemouth, he was a rent-a-quote gabblemouth, always up for any of the right on causes, including making a loud public point of his readiness to play a gay lad in his teams.

    Fair enough.

But now he sits there, with his eyes often down as he speaks, regularly having to stress he'll " stick to the football".

A rather pathetic hypocrite. Death, torture, discrimination and much else the regularly norms of his employers, and he sits there, often sullen and rakes it in.

Enjoy the money Eddie lad, this hypocrisy will follow you all your life.

Eddie Howe. Also known as "Second Prize" but the Jordee Naschun will tell you he was always first choice for Amanda "gets the club" Staveley

So seemingly Ben Foster, a 39 year old free agent, got a call from his agent saying Newcastle wanted him after Darlow got injured. He didn’t really want to sign for the mags, so he asked for a silly money wage. They agreed to it… So he decided to retire!!!!

Shame they couldn't make a flag with the petition they sent to parliament to get the take over sorted.... even though "the fans have no say in who runs the club".

I'd like to think that if the Saudi's bought Sunderland that I would still have an interest in our results but would feel very uncomfortable as to who our owners are. I certainly wouldnt be celebrating or rubbing peoples noses into our new found iffy wealth. I certainly wouldnt be able to support my club in the same way. But as its Newcastle I am not jealous towards the club as such. Couldnt think of a worse way to gain success. However I sometimes wish that I was a supporter of the ilk that alot of the town fans seem to be. A one who totally buries my head in the desert and who is willing to ignore the controversy. Even a one who isnt burying their heads in the sand but who just couldnt even give a ****. As long as I got shiny new players I couldnt give a **** that my owner has made a deal with the Russians meaning our cost of living is going to go up even further. So whilst im sitting at the match I need not worry that my grandma is freezing her bollocks off at home eating shops own brand, or that my son wont be getting a birthday present this year, Callum Wilson has just scored again!!! Wish I could sit through life with such blissful ignorance. Of that I am jealous.

Are we not all hypocrites? Our country commits murder and destruction with our bombs of peace, all over the world. We must have made millions homeless and forced out of their own countries. We are the ones supplying the Saudi's with their bombs in Libya.

Its not the country thats the problem for me. With that its a grey area, all countries have their shameful episodes. Its the individual(s) thats the problem. I wouldnt be happy if any head of state or statesman became our new owner, whether it be Adolf Hitler, General Pinochet, Tony Blair or George Bush. A Saudi businessman throwing money about I would have no problem with. Again, potentially iffy, but a grey area, I can accept it. But having direct owners who are responsible for many deaths, who have getting their hands dirty in such terrible ways? I wouldnt be shouting my support for them from the rooftops.

If the Saudi's bought us and won us the premier league and champions league, I wouldn't give a **** what's happening in Saudi. It wouldn't feel tarnished or anything like that. A victory is a victory, regardless of how it comes.

Would you wave a Saudi flag and go to the match with a tea towel on your heed though?

I'm not as fervorous of a football supporter to feel like that. If football went back to the 80's/90's, 4 foreigner rule, local lads playing, not on an astronomical wage, owned by a local businessman. Managed by club legend. Then I would feel that passionate about it.

Being owned by a state is bad enough, being owned by a state that tortures people, mutilates them and stones them to death is appalling ...

... when those things are enshrined as part of their 'justice' system it's something I wouldn't want to be associated with my club.

Some people went ballistic when di Canio came simply because he'd been a bit of a dafty getting carried away with the fans of his club. I was a member of the f**king Communist Party, when I was eighteen, simply because I fancied a lass who was a regional organiser <laugh>

Haway marra, I’m like thousands of people who have this club engrained in their life and part of their DNA ,but FFS that’s a poor statement
