Are you talking about the Brazilian Ronaldo? He was a beast, if only injuries hadn't taken their toll. He had the lot

I know exactly what you mean mate. He has helped transform them and they look lile the side that will improve their points haul the most.

Haaland though is a phenomenen. I was stood watching some kids footy today with a bunch of footy mad fellas like me. Nobody could suggest a way to stop him. I have said before his league goal tally could end up being a figure few have ever seen. I dont even think he is technically the best, but his movement and one touch finishing is as good as I have seen. I can see City getting the champions league now with him.

Brazilian Ronaldo was the best. Absolute monster, brushing off defenders when he was only 20 years old. Absolutely class for PSV, Barcelona, Inter and then Madrid. A true great of the modern game.

Nobody will stop his movement in the box, need to stop the supply but that's ridiculous to stop as well with Foden, Grealish, Gundoan, Mahrez, Cancelo etc etc. It's coming at teams from all angles for 90mins.

If his knees had held up he.woukd have been in the same bracket as Messi and CR.

An absolute beast that a certain Bobby Robson coached and the pair of them had massive mutual respect.

He loved Mr Robson (as he used to call him). His knees were ****ed because used to get wiped out and not protected from the refs, particularly in Italy. I watched the Italian footy back then and they were brutal, they took no prisoners.

Yes mate. He was a footballer from a different planet in my opinion. He was just beautiful. In my lifetime I have been lucky to see players I think have been amazing. Maradona is the greatest, I have seen, then Ronaldo. That boy was way way better than history remembers him. I have a signed Brazil shirt of his and it is pride and joy.

Micky Carrick getting the gig at Boro is an interesting one. I've got a feeling he'll be alright.

Hibs are playing tonight, I've enjoyed the couple games I've seen of them under Johnson, he has them playing really good footy and sitting 3rd in the SPL.

Awful, Milan beat them last week as well.

Should be a canny game this Chelsea one.

Wyke and Broadhead both up top for Wigan tonight. I wonder if it’s the same on Saturday, they’ve got loads of forward options mind… Must be nice.
