I only had two from four on Saturday so my form analysis is not infallible, Swanny.

It is quite alright to go against me, especially when you are on the winner. Clearly it was “horses for races” as on form it should not be winning as the going was not soft and last year's runner up should have reversed the form plus that was the last time it won.

Thanks QMII, I just got lucky and, I must say, was a bit surprised with the ease he won it. Yours was second at a very good price, so there was nothing wrong with your analysis at all. In future, I will just read your analyses, and not take you on (at least, not on the DT), as it really is a losing cause for me. There are plenty of other races which I can look at in my own rather inconsistent and haphazard way.
All the best, and keep-up the good work!

Well done, old boy. Quick question has FOB still got Surtitle (last run April)??? Am asking because his full brother (year younger) has turned up at Mister Christian's - together with a price tag of €200,000.

Not Long Left, for that is he, was due to run yesterday but, unsurprisingly, was pulled out due to the ground.

Bit of a postscript to this post. The horse who beat Not Long Left in his point has gone to WP of the Mullins. The Gunner Yeats. That one costing a cool €310,000.

The Souede / Munir axis have already booked Ben for one on Thursday. Forward planning and all that...

Funnily enough I was saying that I hadn’t noticed Surtitle on my visits to Ravenswell. However the yards new website (check it out - some lovely silks) has him listed. So he’s either working in early lots at Ravenswell or he is across at Martins Hill.
