I love how booked Gomez for time wasting. After every goal arsenal had a 5 minute team talk in corner of the pitch.

The problem is, of the team that played today the spine for me going forward would be Alisson, Konate in defence Trent and Diaz in Midfield and Nunez up front. With Carvalho/Elliott as back up. The rest I could replace

 

Fabinho was the worse. Not up to speed? Just toe poked it clear. Rather than actually showing some composure

 

Mané leaving doesn’t excuse the shambles of defending this season.

 

Clear it out for a corner if needs be. Never looked troubled at corners, just from open play.

 

Think buying Thiago was a mistake. Not that he's not a great player on his day, but..
A) he's not suited for the PL
B) he's too fragile
C) wrong side of 30
D) Too slow and can't do the work horse stuff that Gini use to do.

I agree but Thiago was too old when we bought him, the others have just been allowed to get too old.

And Thiago highlights what has gone wrong leading to this season. We should have been buying 22/23 yr olds instead of a 29 (almost 30)yr old.

 

Arsenal won’t win the league but they’ve done well to allow Arteta to develop the team. The problem is Pep will be laughing his micro penis off at how poor we’ve become
