In a nutshell. Good away performance. Didn't put our chances away. Didn't deserve to lose.

    Played well.

Unlucky, move on to the next one.

Binning off Summerville because he's not Raphinha is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. ****ing ridiculous comments on here at times and that one wasn't even Wakey.

Palace as bad as Villa for gamesmanship and underhand cheating.
Cooper helped them along the way.

We got into plenty of good positions even in the second half, poor decisions and poor final ball.

I do agree they hit us a bit too easy in transition just chipping the ball into space and started winning the 1v1s. We faded badly in the last 20 when chasing the game and they saw it out too easily.

Started well and thought we on it today we gonna take 3 points 1 clumsy mistake and it all caved in. We still have no change of tactics and everything has to be played to feet because of our dwarfism Infront of goal. I went from oh yeah 3 points here or a disappointing 1 then we end up with nowt after a very below 2nd half. Teams can change it when things are not going well we simply can't. I still can't see how a team playing really well going one up then finish by not even being able to pass a ball and end up getting beat. Baffled.

problem wasn’t Jimmy or joffy… by that point we’d lost control of the midfield and couldn’t get the ball to them

Substitutions didn’t make sense, one week Joffy is behind Gnonto and not even on the bench, a week later he is getting on ahead of him. Summerville on and pushing Rodrigo forward was a big error and why did we take our best player off

We played well first half, second half we were poor

Substitutions didn’t make sense, one week Joffy is behind Gnonto and not even on the bench, a week later he is getting on ahead of him.

Because Joffy played against Tranmere midweek and was one of the better players on the pitch including Gnonto who was subbed. Joffy scored twice. Gnonto hasn't notched since we signed him.

Summerville on and pushing Rodrigo forward was a big error and why did we take our best player off

Because Bamford was ****ed and wasn't pressing because of it so he needed replacing. Aaronson was put at 10 and Rodrigo at 9. Summerville replaced Aaronson on the right. Made sense to me although there were other options.

Yes, if we play well and start converting chances.

We didn't have a chance against Chelsea either but they had an off day and everything we hit went in.

It can happen, you've just got to turn up and play well on the day.

Putting the results to one side, our performances against Brentford and Palace were both very good.

The forum has descended in to full panic mode already this season. The performances, other than Villa, have been far better than last season. Hopefully the players aren't as defeatist as this forum and they continue to play fairly well.

Largely agree… though we lost our way today, when our energy levels dropped they looked stronger and were able to get on the front foot without actually doing much.
