I keep dropping in with little snippets of Sunderland til I die, On with the second series. I get there was a "Meh, so f**k" attitude with some of the staff behind the scenes, that Irish woman just didn't seem on board, but for Chaz to be threatening the staff with basically "If we don't get this, it's your jobs" was a disgrace. They bought something they couldn't afford, then treated everyone like **** because of the pressure they put their selves under because they "Rolled the dice".

Why does everyone think it valuable to do a post Fergie era. As if the fergie era is now irrelevant. It is the same as saying the premier league era. Are we to to just forget the days before the premier league, or before Fergie retired. Now, Fergies best v recent Man City best - that is a debate worth having...

The greatest of all breakfasts, particularly if it is a bread crust.

Within minutes of Liverpool being awarded Eurovision, hotel prices doubled for when it’s on. Can anyone explain the economics of “ high demand - prices have to increase” .
So , if I have 10 units per week for sale at £100 each and each week 10 people turn up to buy them ( = me very happy , profit and business succeeding nicely) - if for some reason I expect a one off situation that next week 15 people will be asking , why do I “ have to” say they are now £200. It’s not costing me more to produce / provide them , I could just say first come first served - so apart from pure greed profiteering because customers have no alternative, are there reasons I don’t understand?

Well said Gelders the hospitality industry have been whingeing since covid was invented and take every opportunity to fleece their customers, have you actually seen the cost of bar food these days and £9 for a pudding over here has become the norm.
They all know they have a captive audience for a couple of nights when this abomination is on in their city, and are putting the prices up accordingly, not taking account of those customers who just might need a hotel in Liverpool that same weekend and aren't remotely interested in Eurovision.
Greedy bastards are what they are.

over six and a half thousand migrant workers have died since the world cup was awarded to Qatar. But yeah talksport, you go and enjoy your "Arabian nights" coverage in your so we'll made up dramatic advert. Colin Murray walked away when the Sun bought into talksport because he had morals. All of these pundits and presenters that were outraged are now in the camp of "well its happening anyway so let's go". As for David Beckham, that propaganda advert is cringeworthy.
