People just have to be nasty don't they? Its no big deal to have a tiny bit of manners but i'm sure some will go out of their way to make a point. Milwall for example.

I don't like booing at all whatever it's for. As you allude to, a little bit of self control goes a long way.

If he plays like he did against Rangers, there won't be a problem, he'll score eventually

    Bad bad news.

The covid denier has had to have surgery on his groin. This means trent is in danger of being dragged to the world cup to sit on a bench.

Dunno who will play rcb now for England in their back 7

    Stone injured as well.

If I were Trent I would announce int retirement
The gaffa clearly does not rate him
Most of the country don’t rate him
    Concentrate on his club career

Complete wrong attitude. He’s never played brilliantly for England to warrant a definite first team place and given last 2 ace got to a semi final then a final can’t really argue even if don’t like the way England have done it.

    I don’t think it’s the wrong attitude
I just don’t see why he should have to miss time with his family and home to go on a trip where there is no chance he will get played for all the reasons you have listed

I think your last line is also the pertinent one
The current regime have treated the lad poorly

stuck him in a position that was alien to him and let him take the flack

make comments to the public that he isn’t good enough allegedly

just don’t see why you would keep trying to force someone who doesn’t rate you to play you in a system that doesn’t suit you

    seems utterly pointless
Be better at home with his family relaxing imho

so anytime one person in life says that your not good enough should just totally quit rather than put your head down and try and develop your game (which we all know he’s not the best defensively) so that you force yourself into the thinking.

    No not at all
But sometimes the goal is not worth it
It’s my opinion on this occasion that the England set up is a pointless quest
I don’t believe that the way England play suits how Trent plays
Also imho - currently the manager running it is fine with allowing Trent to take the blame of failures
Get your head down and show him how good a defender you are - yes
But return and play for him - no
I think he is better off retiring from int football
Just a difference how we both clearly view the current England set up
I personally feel Southgate has some major issues as a manager and wouldn’t want any of our squad turning out for him
With many of the comments that have been thrown at TAA I have not got a clue why most supporters would want TAA in the squad as many have him behind Walker, James and Trippier
So as I originally said I believe he should retire from int duty to stop getting called up - used as a scapegoat for one man’s lack of tactical nous (this is not just limited to TAA imho but he is the player being debated) and relax at home - train a bit harder - concentrate on the areas of his game which need improvement
Come back stronger - and if there is a change in management, then. And only then do I think he should re consider the int scene

You don't need to "retire" if you are not getting called up <laugh>

Reality check, he is supposed to be a right back, he is **** at defending
He played some great crosses for Mane, Mane doesn't play for England.
He takes the occasional good free kick, England have a very consistent "great" free kick taker with Ward prouse.
He want's to be a winger or midfielder, he's not very good at either.

In short, who do you think he should replace in the squad ?

By diego's logic the person with most assists in the prem bar de bruyne has plays a few crosses at mane.

He should also be irrelevant cos another guy who might not even be on the plane but certainly won't play for England at the world cup cos he's not a dcm takes a few frees and all.

Given the lad with the second most assists and tops the stats for several other key aspects of the game can't defend and is a "not very good" midfield or winger.

By that logic and alternate "reality" Diego lives in trent should be grateful that he's not walked into a lamp post daily cos he is clearly a clumsy oaf.

Mate, scourers have a very long history of English managers being dicks. Callagham got 4 caps I think. One of the most consistent performers of the whole 1960s. The list goes on and on so imo most people who consider England is above all and players ought to bend over backwards for any chance they get are not from the area.

The funny thing is Diego will have been delighted with Scholes ****ing off England and giggs mugging off Wales constantly get passes all over trent

I get the impression you get where I am coming from
Cause you have pretty much nailed it
I not saying he should replace anyone (not sure how Diego picked that up tbh) in fact I am saying he should go back and get his head down and work on the weaker areas of his game
(More where IBWT was coming from) but I think the call ups don’t help - and he is getting called up, so again not sure where Diego coming from

Sometimes you have to draw a line
Almost be taken out of the firing line

the current system at England is not suited to TAA everyone can see it so why call him up (you don’t need your 4th choice in a position to be present at int training and games)

Just daft - which was why I said retire
They have to retire otherwise they keep getting pulled into the international setup

Ftr I think Maguire should too for his own good atm cause Southgate is too stubborn/loyal not to see that he isn’t helping him
I actually don’t think Maguire is anywhere near as bad as he is looking but press and fans have been merciless
It will happen to TAA too if he stays in and around the current England manager imho

    Yeah - agree
I think it started whenever whatever happened in Greece (?)
Press are terrible in this country
Fans lap it up (some) because of the tribal rivalry

a footballer made a comment about Maguires treatment the other week and whilst a tad dramatic I pretty much agreed

    easy to say ignore it
But must be difficult when it’s everywhere you turn

Just hire someone with all the money they have to hide all the negativity around them and shower them with praise. Sorted

the daily fail is reporting city are faking the system again by paying haaland 400k a week and adding on 500k a week in bonuses for turning up.

900k a week, on a par with mbappe but some sort of little scheme going on to get around the wages.

well you'd swear the way the press starting licking haaland's balls before he even kicked a ball that they had been given some inducement by "someone" to do exactly this.

Man utd are too cheap to pay for positive press it seems.
