Nope but am reading for a honours degree in English Literature and Language, only another year to go!! Doctor Whom!!
Guys, I wish that I had paid more attention at school - I thought that antonym was the Southampton goalie from a few years ago and Osmosis was that band with the Gallagher's in it? Huthy, thanks to your first response prompting this intellectual debate, I have picked up some bonus points.Thank you very much (I don't suppose you'd let me in on your secret would you?)
Hey Steve - 4 syllables now, steady on, anyway, I did infer osmosis, not antonym, in fact, quite the opposite.
Swery That, was just about spot on IMHO My oppinion on Monday nights debacle.. disgrace of a performance.. call it what you like fella's. It WAS a result just "waiting to happen" pure and simple. Teams especially teams like Newcastle have "sussed us" they stopped the supply to both Pennant and to some extent Etherington and Liverpool did the same thing. Which means that basically we're **** our midfield is **** and given that T.P. thinks Huth is a good enough stand in Right back.. we're up **** creek without the preverbial paddle. Mighty Huth, like Nick say's we're long time fans and IF YOU think Monday was bad. I can remember worse days and nights results and perfomance wise. The DIFFERENCE being... we didn't spend MILLIONS on those player's. Monday's team as Smither's rightly pointed out the other day cost us a fortune and still could not string more than two passes together. I HAVE now calmed down somewhat but that does not change how I feel about T.P. and his stupid system of playing so many GOOD player's in positions there and not USED too. I will never like the guy as such, I respect what he has done and I thank him for that. I do NOT like what he is trying to do right now. More so, away from home which is why, like Swervy. I will not spend good money to watch boring defensive football any longer. I will however continue to buy a season ticket and sing my HEAD OFF because like the rest on here. I SUPPORT the TEAM the CLUB and I aways WILL.
