the reason i rarely watch such things...i just get angry at the complete lack of understanding these MP's show, those tories actually believe they are doing the poor a favour by effectively forcing them to look for a 'better' job despite the fact that these jobs are needed and people will be thrown into more poverty until this magical much better paid job comes along, there are also many who did not get a higher education (many reasons for this) so those higher paid jobs will not be offered to them. on a side note, i could punch that mogg until all my knuckles were broken beyond repair, a truly ignorant person who considers himself above others.
True, but consider that we've now moved from MortgageGeddon for everyone to affecting only those who must remortgage now and must only need a two or five year deal, plus the minority who are on a variable rate. We're now into 'every decision is bad luck for someone' territory.

As I showed above, you're in the trap if a two or five year mortgage are your only options. If they're not, and I'd argue that if not then you've had nearly 15 years worth of historically cheap mortgage repayment rates so I can't feel too bad for you, decent rates can still be found. How much of the 65bn has been spent so far?
