Loo Town are above us, albeit alphabetically.

I am lost for word apart from the officials were hopeless. Sarr should have got a penalty that was when the officials left the pitch for 10 minutes and Swansea ruined their overall display by play acting and badf sportsmanship but no one will care but us

What happened at the end - didn't seem very clear on the TV but there was a penalty shout for handball?

Guess the officials didn't see it or didn't feel it was.

Surely shouldn't take 10 minutes to sort the technical issue out?

Choudhury was MotM for me, he made so many interceptions and his tackling and work-rate were excellent. I liked this James Morris lad, particularly when he first came on, really forward-playing. Pollock played them all onside for the second goal, just jumped too soon. Otherwise he was pretty solid. Asprilla was running and jumped for a header but was pushed in the back by a Swan (#5?) and he jarred his back on landing, easily done bearing in mind he ended up travelling much further than intended. Nasty foul, the sort that isn’t picked up.
There was some interesting regular rejigging of the three behind Davis. Asprilla middle, then swapped with Ken, then Asprilla is on the right with Sarr in the centre, all sorts going on, presumably to confuse, which backfired when tracking back at times!

Swansea pickpocketed us, certainly very flattering scoreline for them. On the whole, I’m happy. I would like us to push the ball forward more, though.

Maybe the younger players coming in is just what the team needs?

They won't be hampered by what has gone on before and the fear of failing.

Although no natural right back means Kamara back there again!

I guess we just need to get a run of form going and actually manage to have a fully fit team for 90 minutes.

Otherwise it's unfair on Bilic really to totally judge him.

Only 17k - are people drifting away?

Already seen the usual "I'm never going again" type comments on social media and here .

    https://wfcforums.com/index.php?threads/i-despise-this-football-club.59730/#post-3180928

I can see why we only used to get 13k or so before the Pozzos came or even lower 8/9k in the 90s.

Suddenly it’s not quite so good and people really don’t want to know .

I know we aren’t the only ones but we have some fickle fans who react on a match by match basis .

Let’s see what Bilic can do longer term with a fully fit squad and consistent team selection.

Owners and fans need to give time otherwise we’ll just have the same old cycle.

It wouldn't surprise me to see attendances drop at many clubs as people are forced to choose how to spend their money. An away day can be an expensive day out.

Yes particularly if they think the football isn’t good or worth it as clearly many of our fans do.

Although for some strange reason the guy in that link actually has 2 season tickets but just cannot be bothered to go !

Presumably isn’t that worried about wasting money in affect to make his point! ( but they already have his money ..)

Obviously is it all rather frustrating what has gone on and losing like that isn’t great but some of the reaction in that thread is very extreme to me.

I think football fans now get very emotional and due to the ability to react straight away often write things they don’t really mean .

I think I must be mad.
Drove down from leafy ,(drenched) Cheshire , to have meal first ( Cote - very pleasant) with friend who only travelled from Nice for the game. Who is madder ?
Disappointing game with some good bits.
Anyway, journey back - an absolute nightmare. Road works at bottom of M1 ( had to go via Milton Keynes to drop friend off). Couldn't use jct 15, shut, so had to crawl up to Northampton. More jams as people ignore lanes closed until they block the road up. Passed the M6 junction AND ONLY THEN did I learn that A50 was shut. Long meander through Coalville Burton etc. Home by 2-45. I'm not doing this again !

    Seen the highlights.

Our defending for both goals was rubbish.

It was never a pen for us at the end, it was a Watford handball.

Bilic knows he has his work cut out now after a blinding start against a terrible performance by Stoke.

Cometh - Blackpool away, Norwich at home, Millwall away, and then Loo Town which aren't exactly nice fixtures for Bilic either!

I can't get past page one of this thread. An absolutely disgraceful performance from the teams in yellow and (without the benefit of hindsight) even worse from the team in the blue shirts. Angered into silence last night. Not even sure I'm going to read Matt Rowson's take on it. I'm going to Blackpool too.

No certainly was an appeal more in hope than vain.

Annoying thing is we seemed to create some good chances on the occasions we did really attack them so shame we didn't do it more.

The minutes after they went in front seemed to be a total waste of time - still had time to get a goal and hardy had a sniff.
