The four attackers went where they wanted. Difficult to pigeon hole them into a set formation to be honest.

Easily Nunez's best game for us so far; ram he socks off, chased & challenged every ball, got in good positions, just lacked a goal. He was doing what most strikers do when low on goalscoring confidence, hitting it down the middle!

Much better from everyone today but Rangers stood off and let us play.

completely agree. He was tirelsss and pressed better than any player all season! Could have easily had a Hat-trick. Played across the front and offered movement that we’ve missed this season. Note, nearly every one of his shots was on target. On this showing, he will be just fine.

There did seem to be more fluidity about what we did but hard to tell how that will translate into the game with Arsenal.

Nice to see us start a game with intensity for the first time since the Charity Shield .
The failure to get another couple of goals did mean pretty much all of our first 11 played all or the vast majority of the game which may be a problem in the games to come.

Much better attitude from all, albeit against poor opposition. As I said somewhere else, lose and it's desperately serious. Let's see what happens against the arse.

Bit of a over reaction online to how well Trent played. Yeah, he hat a good game but it wad inferior opposition where he didn't have to do much defender. His offensive play as never been questioned.

I think Trent took up a different position in that it was more defensive and could have been tested, just that Rangers didn't even test it. Would have been interesting to see how effective it could have been.
