    Sorry mate, but that's bollox

Genuine question, has Speakman ran over your cat or something. Your hatred of him is clouding your judgement and making you look a bit of a dick

We are going to end up playing 10 games without a striker. I don't think any club in the championship will do that.

Referee was a disgrace, bloke next to me was going his ends about it, if we mere mortals can see a clown in action god knows how the powers that be can’t. I think TM has had a good start but he got the subs wrong tonight, scattergun approach with the young lads. It needed bodies to break from midfield into their box, I couldn’t understand his thinking. Never mind another point on the board for

That lack of advantage was an absolute disgrace mind. It was a split second, the ball falls to a Sunderland player, with no opposition in sight. Then to compound matters, he does exactly the right thing 30 seconds later, bringing the play back for them to have a free kick when they lost the advantage.

We have Embleton and Neil who are supposed to be that kind of midfield player ...

... if they'd been playing for Blackpool none of us would be crying out to sign them.

Just because we didnt sign a 3rd striker doesnt mean our recruitment has been bad though thats more my point. Speakman has helped take the club forward, has he made mistakes? Of course he has but everyone does. The plan was clear with our recruitment that we would play 1 up top so I wasn't that disappointed that we didnt sign n out n out 3rd striker. Did i agree with every decision made, no i didnt. Personally i would have let dajaku out on loan for a season and brought in a forward who could play on the wing or upfront more naturally- broadhead was my 1st choice and i wouldnt have minded scully from lincoln as a back.up option.

Look we are all entitled to our opinions but i do think its ridiculous slagging the whole recruitment when as you said we have so many great young players

Keep saying that but I'll keep referring to all facts. He said we didn't need a striker. We needed wingers.

If he thought differently the last 2 would have been wins IMO..

It's not a coincidence we played 2 ****e teams at home and been 0-0. We don't have the striker needed.

Not slagging that mate. Stuart and James have done amazing.

Speakman literally said we don't need another forward so it's on him. That's it. That's why I am annoyed. He was wrong.

    Otherwise the model is sound.

That is your opinion, a striker does not guarentee wins.

Where is it fact that Speakman said we didn't need a striker? Or is that what you were told?

The whole issue needn't be as polarising. It's perfectly rational to be happy and impressed by those we've brought in but also be disappointed by the situation that has developed because we didn't push that little bit more for another striker.

At least TM wasn't afraid to hook 3 of them. Pritch hasn't really been at it since Neil left imo, so maybe it's time for Michut to come to the party. The other 3 have generally performed well, although that's 2 poor games on the trot for Goochy. Having said that, our defence has kept consecutive clean sheets, so if it's not bust, don't fix it.

We've tried Embo and Amad up top without success, so we could try Clarke up top as you suggest, but with Cirkin on the left. It's just a matter of finding the right combinations until we have a recognised striker back.

    It's what I know.

And if you think that clubs can consistently win without a striker then good luck to you. I think the evidence of 0-0 at home twice. Is enough to start it mate. Was going to happen. It did. .

Happy with points return and approach generally but that call is fundamentally abysmal

When Neil came on he sat deep in place of Evans, I would have left Evans on and pushed Neil forward. That’s why I’m saying he got his subs wrong on this occasion. Your right though Embleton was awful tonight. I’m not too disappointed as I can see progress, if we didn’t lose RS when we did I think we would be too 3 by now

You are obviously very passionate about the club Prehab but you aren’t the only one, we all are. We all know we have no recognised striker available and we all wanted to sign a third or fourth striker when the window was open, we didn’t and the window is closed. Given what has happened with Stewart and Simms I am sure Speakman regrets not signing someone but hindsight is always 20/20 vison.

What’s the point in trotting out the same whinge every time we don’t score, the window opens in January and we are stuck with what we have until then.

OK mate, you're on a mission so I'll leave it there.

I take your point but I still trust the club and think 100% we're going in the right direction.

Speakman has done amazing as well though. Think we have a great team there. Nothing wrong with being annoyed at all, 2 0-0 draws has me annoyed as well.

I just think our recruitment has been fantastic over last couple seasons with very few mistakes.

Its just a shame we lost our 2 strikers, these things happen in football.

If we stay top half when ballard simms n stewart come back we have a great chance to push for the playoffs after the world cup.

Will need to get recruitment right in January of course
