Not a bad half from us.
Amos has worked hard, but haven't seen much of Dozzell. Field doing his usual reliable job.
Willock a bit quiet, but often has two on him, as does Chair.
Apart from Laird's mistake, we've defended well, with our CBs strong.
I can see why these are top of the league. A good side, with big strong players, along with being very niggly. Perfect for this league.
I'd take a point now.

    HT

Soaked up pressure in that half, and they had some chances, but we pushed forward at times and had some chances too.

Never has the HT whistle been so welcome....... somehow we've hung in there and are still in the game

Hmm. We're defending well but we are just rushing too much and not holding the ball in midfield. In fact, midfield is often being bypassed.

Willock looks lazy. To me, aside from his flashes of skill and brilliants, hasn't looked the same player since coming back from illness a while back.

You can see the others have upped their intensity and effort, because they know it's what the manager wants to see. Willock seems to have missed the memo on that one.

Fair play to the Sheff Utd commentators, they've been pretty decent and not too over the top a-al Nick London and Andy Sinton <laugh>

Goodness only knows how we're not behind here, been so sloppy and no composure. Too slow again to get to players around our box and not offering a great deal going forward. Roberts is ****e, and we Nedd Dykes on to offer a hold up option to give our influential attackers a platform. Our midfield is getting overrun and we need Timpal on or Johansen in place of Dozzell. Seny keeping us in it along with some last ditch defending. Need an energy boost 2nd half and a flash of inspiration or luck. Could be one of those nights where we get battered but nick a fortunate win. Let's hope so, cone on u rrr's ffs and make those changes gaffer

Slowing the game down at all set pieces seems to be the tactic of the 1st half. Not great to watch and at times frustrating. Suppose its all about the points though. Sheffield utd fans in the box with me are getting seriously pissed off with dieng ha ha

I would get Dykes on because his holding play would allow us get get further up the pitch. I really like Roberts, but he looses the ball too quickly.
The points are there for us to pinch.

    Stream working great, thanks Steelsy.

Yup, their commentators ain't too bad at all.

Been quite impressed with Sheffield, can see why they are top.

We need to freshen it up in midfield and up our game 20% or can see them nicking one eventualy

To be fair though, it's still 0-0 and we could easily nick this with a bit more energy

Would not be completely devastated if we settled for a point but only on condition that we get the win on Friday. That'd be 7 out of 9

Apologies. Yes, that seems to be a new thing.
Tune to 403, press red button, then the info button for choices.
I don't see that, as I press record on the main game and all the game choices come up for you to decide which one you want to record.

Some of our players looked shattered walking off at ht, very leggy. He has to make the changes at ht cos a goal for them is coming if it carries on like this unfortunately.

I think we've pressed really well.
    Amos surely won't last.
Midfield is getting a little over run, but not as badly as I'd feared.

    Can't agree with this.

Willock had the shot that hit the post on Saturday, leading to a goal.
    He's been sensational.
Can't do it every game, especially with two on him all the time.
