Plainly obvious were missing the presence of a centre forward.

Total domination but nothing to show for it.

It is. It would create so much space in this game too.

of course, we are missing our main 2 strikers - every team would be the same.

I wonder if TM has considered Thompson because surely he’d be able to at least create space for the creative players even if he didn’t score

Like Mowbray said, can Amad score those scruffy goals in the six yard box? It would be good to see him gambling and getting in the right areas to tap one in.

we are indeed, but we have wasted a few opportunities with some dire passing as well, or trying to do the same thing every time we get the ball (roberts)...certainly need something to give the lads a spark as otherwise we are playing some decent stuff here.

Blackpool aren't but haven't had an attempt on goal tbf.

Amad needs to be quicker and greedier imo.

    I've no doubt we'll score.

Poor for 30 mins really, then improved a bit. Chances have to be taken. Diallo has to score really and it changes the game. In games like this it is vital.

At times we are trying to force it instead of being patient and moving them around. We are a bit harem scarem. Pritchard is struggling for me with his decision making. That free kick attempt from 35 yards was really stupid.

All said if we can keep giving it to Clarke and Roberts and getting them running with it we will create chances and they are nursing a yellow card now. Game is there to be won, but we have to be better in the box.

They have 3 on the pitch and none of them have done anything

People keep announcing it like it's breaking news ffs ...

... Mowbray is doing everything possible under the circumstances.

I'm watching hoping the players on the pitch score much like I did at Reading, not moping about those who aren't there.

Amad is tidy in possession; he turns with speed with and his link up play has been class - his movement in the box has been poor so far. I want to see him get across and between CBs quicker than he is currently - he's easily marked in the box. Def a quality player in there and if he can grab a goal his confidence will rocket, and he will be a very very handy player

Embleton or Pritchard for me , not both, I would like to see BA on at HT for Pritchard tbh.

It is a performance like that you realise just how good Stewart is. Less so Simms in my opinion - jury out on him. Stewart up top and Blackpool have to play a completely different way, and like you say space opens up around the box and wider.

Keeps on putting too much power on them he needs to calm it down a touch.

    There's the problem mate.

Do you buy someone who's only on a par with Simms ...

... or do you ask four flair players to score a goal.

We showed against Reading and Watford we have goals, too easy to just stick a big man up front and cross your fingers imo.

Embleton is having a good game for me. I think being deeper is allowing him to find different pockets of space where he's not being followed as closely.
