So why do England always have one of the worst looking kits? This world cup again they just look so amateurish. Even the red away kit, which is usually the better of the two, looks pretty bad.

It's embarrassing how the country never gets a decent kit. Never winning, I can tolerate. But must we lose whilst looking awful?

I did like the kit a decade or two back with the St. George Cross over the shoulder probably the best of the white kits.

I'm just confused cos they sing America, America from sea to shining sea... so clearly don't need to sound like they are shouting AKs in the air while they shout usa usa

They don't really sing at sporting events in general. They'll chant a few U-S-A, boo the other team, whistle and clap, but American sports crowds are very different to European ones in how they show support.

The only meat pie Americans know is "chicken pot pie"... 'tis a land of pieless freaks, I tell ya. If you mention pie to Americans they think of desert items usually... Sweetened pies.

It's all nachos and yellow food coloured oil that they call cheese... Or hot dogs (also coated in yellow oil that they call cheese) at sporting events here.

The local butcher does steak and haggis pie, its truly divine.

Greggs is the corn beef slice.

Fresh Sausage rolls from morrisons are lovely.

    Bloody hell I can't choose.

Pieminister do a nice steak and ale pie. I'm also rather partial to a rhubarb pie. The older I get, the more I seem to be seeking out the tastes of my childhood, rhubarb pie being one of them.

Rhubarb pie is delicious, I'm partial to a bit of apple crumble. I'm unsure if crumble counts as a pie or is a genus all of its own.

Although it's not called pie, the ingredients for the crumble mix are the same as for pastry ...... almost.

Can't be doing with pie accompanied by mash though.
