nah mate. She got a letter. Said bill gates will turn off YouTube unless she had it.

or the truth is that I threatened her with a hammer if she didn’t have it.

or that me an prince Andrew helped pin her down while Chris witty gave her the injection.

truth is, we spoke to her and asked what she wanted to do. She decided she wanted it and I said she could drop out at any point. Even told the nurse that if she thought she was being forced that she could refuse to give it to my daughter.

moral of the story is, my daughter isn’t influenced by snake oil salesmen.

I'm not taking sides here Peej, but I don't think I'd leave it up to what a 7 year old wants, when it comes to having any injection.

I'll add that I'm not convinced about kids having the Covid vaccine and I made the decision for mine not to have them.

That doesn't mean I think there's some Bill Gates conspiracy to take over the world, I just don't see the need for it.

Perfectly reasonable. I will reiterate that she was not forced and I also told the nurse that if she felt that my daughter was being force, to not give it. My daughter is aware of health, what vaccines do etc.

Again, your choice.

What concerns me tho is when I was a child all parents wanted their kids to catch Measles, Chicken Pox, Scarlet Fever etc because they wanted us to have strong immune systems, worked with me and most of the ones I grew up with

These days children are vaccinated for everything, live in houses where 99.9% of germs are killed (allegedly) by cleaning products but they are weaklings compared to my generation, they have allergies that did not exist, all seem to suffer depression because most parents prefer them to spend all day on laptops rather than play outside or climb trees all the things my generation did everyday

Maybe the Grey Aliens are really our future generations

Had it in my head for ages, but couldn’t remeber where I got it from.

both my kids are playing out, falling over, cuts etc. both had chicken pox(no vaccine I believe for that), but both immunised for measles and mumps etc.

They kill or can kill, if not have an impact on future health if you get a bad case. Can agree on the disinfected living.

she won’t come home after falling through an asbestos garage roof like I did as a kid covered in cuts….thank god!

Who the fck in their right mind wanted their kids to have measles? <laugh> If it doesn't kill you it fcks your immune system. Your body forgets every bit of immunity it's ever had and has to restart the process of learning it all again lol. Nobody has the Chicken Pox vaccine today or ever, and there's no vaccine for Scarlet Fever. So kids experience those today as much as they did then unless they've been eradicated.

Children don't get vaccinated for everything, other than the childhood vaccination programme which started in the 1950's. Kids aren't anymore weak than they were back then. And although I agree they should be playing outdoors more, they all don't suffer depression.

When you were a kid I bet some old fart spoke about the hippy generation, kids having hot food, free education, free healthcare in hospitals, all day to go out and play, and how much weaker they were then than in his day when parents wanted their kids working from the age of 4, for 15 hours a day in cotton mills or workhouses, climbing up chimneys, toiling down coal mines, for thruppence a week which they had to give to mum then go and scrounge for food where they could find it.

Sadly, we don't see that old fart talking about that stuff anymore Duggie, because he died and the world moved on.
