What has the dark world seen that is so bad it would want to even think about building this kind of doomsday weaponry? How sick a mind can there be to want to deploy such a monstrous weapon, and have they given any thought to what it may achieve in the long term? Control over nuclear wasted land is pointless unless you want your people to move there in iron-clad suits to run the country you have just destroyed. The world is being held ransom by a cornered rat, in every sense of the phrase, and the only way out is to eliminate the rat before it fights back. Germany thought their wonder ships Bismark, Tirpitz and Graff Spee would win them the war in the Atlantic but shrewd planning, combined with a little luck, put them both at the bottom of the sea. We need to find this submarine asap and do whatever to stop it's progress or ability to do catastrophic damage but I wonder if we even have that kind of capability? The stakes are getting higher by the day, and we have to hope that cooler heads prevail to avoid disaster otherwise the outcome can only be a world changing scenario. Have Russians forgotten the Kursk disaster that lost all of the crew after it was apparently hit by one of it's own missiles?. Many neighbours offered to help locate it and be involved in any rescue attempt but were told to do one by the Russians who tried to blame the incident on others. A programme to do with Tsunami and highlighting the Canary Islands etc modelled the effects 2 or 3 places around the world and the consequences. Like Canary islands would affect over 3000 miles of coast line down the americas with a tsunami hitting land at something around 30 -40 m. A worst case scenario of a undersea quake had TSUNAMI which devatated 000's miles around pacific! should Russia use such a weapon and protect itself also then such a high wall off water would need to be 000's of miles away! info on its effect is not to plentiful but based on models of the past [ scaled up ] would indicate in the atlantic ocean half of europe / mediterranean / west coast Africa/ Baltic [ hence an own goal for St Petersburg ] Also coast of north and south America's and doomsday for the artic which is not a landmass just a sheet of ice. then there is the back fill effect the initial water displacement would leave a void which after the water had left the explosion point would fill back in with water that has been polluted all marine life would be dead so 20% of the worlds food source gone ... I have managed to get a really slow play rate on the explosion video [ working on getting 1 even slower ] The explosion seems to be lop sided? I cant get a frame that shows the initial detonation so must assume the video is quite slow maybe 10 frames a second or less? I have in past video'd a couple of quarry blasts and you get a real slo mo sequence with this one you get lorry ... white light for a couple frames then the envelope of expansion .. so would lean toward the explosion not being the lorry!.....

Do Ukraine have special forces? Could they not have blown the bridge from underneath with explosives, rather than being on a truck, it wasn’t clear from the pictures that it was a truck bomb .
they do have some very good ones and it is possible the explosion was from underneath, but as you state pic is not that clear and damage pics are hard to define as to where the centre may have been. They alleged the explosives had been hidden in rolls of plastic film and taken on a roundabout route from the Ukrainian port of Odesa - first by sea to Bulgaria, then Georgia, and then driven by lorry overland into Russia via Armenia. dont be misled into thinking rolls of plastic film as kitchen wrap or cling film! although some of the explosive envelope does look like "strange " rolls would likely be in excess off a tonne? and the effect would be to suppress the explosion? Think of the famous war film [ cant remember which one ] when a soldier whipped off his helmet and covered a grenade . he did bounce up a bit bit explosion contained!!! The envelope on this one was very rapid and looked "thin" ... could be wrong not enough detail .......
