https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-59070020 We both know how this plays out. You say it’s just a forecast, maybe pluck a figure about Germany out and continue to be an apologist for this clusterfuck.
That's a year old, couldn't you go back further? And since all the Remainer economic disaster predictions proved wrong, let's all rely on another. If you want to renege on Brexit, first persuade your man, Lord Keir. He's a believer now apparently (and needs the Red Wall votes)
Unfortunately the demographic split of this country means he needs a good chunk of the rancid old gammon vote and that means giving them what they want on Brexit. All you can do is pray the EU has a rough few years to hide behind. There’s no economic rationale for Brexit at all.
We did do something about the power of hoovers, please tell me we did otherwise what the **** was the point in leaving.
Starmer hasn't changed his mind on Brexit, he knows (as does anyone with half a brain) that it was an act of massive self-harm. His line now is 'Make Brexit Work', which can only mean re-joining the Single Market.
That's way too simple. There are a large number of young people that believe in the case for the sovereignty of the UK. For all intents, Brexit hasn't even begun due to the pandemic and Ukraine war. The bedwetters can continue to whinge about how cruel it was that a democratic vote went against them. Far better to follow Lord Keir's example and get over it and get a life
https://www.thenational.scot/news/2...eedom-movement-joining-single-market-forever/ If he's changed his mind again, he'd better put rejoining the Single Market in his next Labour manifesto. But he won't...
The economy is rightly important and the City has barely been affected by Brexit, unlike what the doom mongers predicted. Regaining sovereignty is about more than that. Control of borders, having ended freedom of movement, is vital when we have a government that has time and the balls to use this. I realise this doesn't appeal to the no borders brigade.
If all else fails, revert to sovereignty. Your lot are constantly crying about illegal immigration still though and Truss has admitted we need to attract more migrants. Feels a bit pointless for all the sunk costs of Brexit so far let alone in future. Could you not have just hung a Union Jack from the window?
I’d like our national flag to be a source of pride rather than associated with right wing nationalim, yes. Fortunately you’re a dying breed.
So all the crowds of people that queued to see the Queen in state and along the road at her funeral are right wing nationalists in your eyes? You'll be dead before this country ceases to be a decent, patriotic country that doesn't continually sneer at its past. Because it won't, however much people like you try to bring it down.
I quite enjoy getting a stamp when I go through passport control into an EU country. That's a Brexit dividend. Silver linings and all that.
People liked the Queen. A diminishing number support your hostility towards immigrants and small-minded nationalism.
