What has happened on here? Like a ghosttown these days. My reason.... The same names, and we all know who they are, gang up on certain individuals and drive them out. We all know the indivuals PLEASE STOP

It's the "own little world" belief that certain mackems (only a few, not most) have. Even sensible posts and comments can be met with a torrent of abuse, which is not moderated properly. A Manchester United fan made a comment the other day about Newcastle doing so well, and Sunderland doing badly, and was met with loads of accusations of being a closet mag! I was disgusted. To be honest, if a side is underachieving, surely one would think of more negative things to say than positive? Cross club discussion is often not welcomed on this board and that is where the problem lies.

This. The abuse seems to come from one main poster, no guesses who, but that just seems to be ignored. It needs to be tit for tat. However, it's a football forum, we need to stop getting so worked up. I see Syd is now getting some articles relating to his moderation, we've had our differences but ffs he donates a lot of time, FOR FREE, to this forum.

It's pretty clear to me which posters are dragging this forum through the dirt, but they never get dealt with unfortunately, by all of us, not just moderators.

 

If you are referring to Hardacre or what ever he goes by, he is always making these articles and is almost certainly a Mag...

This, 100%. I read through all his comments and the comment Cheik the Room is going on about isn't an isolated incident.

But in reference to the OP, maybe it is because some people are just out to cause trouble (a category I would but the author of this thread in, incidently) and then play victim.

There are absolutely no accusations (or any truth in those accusations) about cliques and the Newcastle board is there? Glass houses and all that...





People seem to easily upset and offended. This is why I think attempts at wummery garner more attention than genuine football chit-chat.

 

To be honest sometimes a good disagreement is what gets the forum going. Since we picked up a few results and Brucies job has looked safer their is less to argue about.

I have been busy with worth recently, and its only getting busier so that's why I have not been on as much. I don't think their is anything wrong with the forum it all comes down to the users and what they contribute.

Whatever you think about Cest, his posts focus on players, managers, local rivalry, etc. - i.e. football.

Lets be honest mate, no one on this forum is as abusive as you. You kill every single discussion when it goes against you with your abusive nature. Its plain for all to see. You start off well, then when someone disagree's you turn it into a huge argument. You clearly can't see that, but the rest of us can and even Sunderland fans have complained about you. Whatever keeps you happy I suppose.

 

I have to agree there. I think even some mackems would agree that when Cest spat his dummy out and left for a week, the amount of arguing died down and the amount of normal unhyped discussions increased. I definitely saw it.

Just face it chum. Whilst some people may like you for your occasionally well-thought-out posts, many people, mackems and mags, find that you cause a lot of disruption on purpose.

Plenty of craas do of course because they dont like to get it back when they come on full about Sunderland. You see barcodes have always been the same all my life. Good at dishing out the **** when they are doing well but taking offence straight away when they are not. Your fans are amongst the most despised in the UK, not just on Wearside, for the deluded, self centred and astonishingly thick approach to all things football.

PS - I will always remain happy pissing insignificant barcodes off and you can count yourslef in that bracket chum if you like.
