Haven’t a lot of players said he actually speaks good English just chooses not to, to the press? Either way he’d put Seth and Tufan in early graves
I thought Bielsa was on a very modest wage? He lived in a flat above a chippy in Wetherby. He also likes to be heavily involved in a lot of the administration at the club, certainly did at Leeds.
Don’t know what he was on when he left but his first contract in the Championship was a 2 year deal on £6 million a year. Though he paid his own back room staff initially.
He continued to do that in the Premier League. My Brother in Law is a Leeds fan. He also took all the players on an employment education journey, exposing them to jobs some of the supporter base may do. I liked that idea, some players live in a bubble and are totally out of touch with reality.
Carvalhal maybe is the best option. At least he has more experience in this country than Corboran, who could just have been a one season flash in the pan. I don’t get the clamour for Parker, anyone could have got that Bournemouth side promoted. Carvalhal as a former centre half should be able to sort out that defence as well.
The Wolves fans in the comments aren’t impressed. TBH, I’m not, but for me, he’s a better option than Shota for us.
Well, in one of the biggest matches of his career, as head coach of the biggest football club on the planet, his team were outmatched completely by a team with minimal support coached by a guy called Steve Bruce who today would not be remotely welcomed as a returning manager to said club.
I think we need to be realistic with who we want and who we can actually attract. It was only a few seasons ago we were in league 1, our last 2 managers have been McCann and Shota and we're currently a point above the bottom 3. Carvahal would be a very good manager for us, for what we need right now, which is to keep us in the championship and build for next season. I also think he wouldnt let Acun get away with as much as Shota did regarding transfers. Im hoping its him.
Oh definitely, if we have no FFP issues then that's fine. The notion that a new manager will have no impact on our FFP assessment is wrong though and not sure why Baz said it.
How on earth do you know it's wrong? Baz was clearly told something, otherwise he wouldn't report it.
